March 28th I purchased a firearm from this company online for a great price. Shipping time was good and the firearm showed up within one weeks time which I would consider a timely manor. The firearm I purchased was from a company KYgunco was advertising rebates for, Beretta. Beretta requires a receipt showing the serial number of the firearm to be able to process the rebate, and KYgunco does not show the serials for the firearm on their receipts. I emailed their customer service email address requesting a copy containing the serial on April 4th, and April 9th. It is now mid day April 14th with no response from them. As someone who also operates in the industry, I'm disappointed by this especially since they advertise the rebate on their site. They DON'T price match unless it is the exact same gun. Then it has to be local, NOT on the internet. I guess they don't sell on the internet. Also, no paper method either. 3) Have so-called "expert" counter help that does not even know the basic difference between 22MAG and 17HMR casings. Since Blaine left, the only worthwhile employee left is Zach. 4) Have common items constantly out of stock. For example, a basic 22 cal Pro-Shot spear jag not on the shelf for over 2 months. Ok, time to go get it from EBAY with no problem. 5) Have ammo on the very top shelf where the customer and employees cannot even find it. I recently decided to buy a handgun - my first. I quickly became overwhelmed by all the choices. But, after a few weeks of visiting local stores and watching you-tube videos, I decided I wanted a Glock-19-like 9mm. I came across a ranking of such guns which had the SAR 9C right up there with the big names, and the price was great, so I ordered online at KYGUNCO. The gun arrived at the local FFL in about 6 days, and I was very pleased with the transaction. One small issue - the Kygunco listing said it was the Compact model, but listed the barrel length at 4.4 inches. These pieces of info are inconsistent. I was told that it was worth around 300 dollars..... after audibly laughing out loud I was then told that they could "probably only sell it for $400". She basically said I had to now go through the manufacture because I accepted it from my dealer. She then asked for pictures, and I have not heard back since. I received two Remington RP9 Pistols this past Tuesday (May 28, 2019) from Kentucky Gun Company. I noticed the Serial Numbers were very low so I called Remington and asked when the two RP9 Pistols had been manufactured. They said both were manufactured in 2016. So, I am somewhat upset because I thought I had ordered two newly manufactured RP9 Pistols that had been updated/improved since the first ones were manufactured in 2016. I am well aware that there were some problems with the early manufactured RP9 Pistols. I called Ky Gun Co and said that I was not happy that they had sold me "old stock" pistols. I asked them to exchange the older pistols for newly manufactured pistols. I also explained to them that they should have advertised these RP9 Pistols as being 2016 manufactured pistols. I assured them that I would have never purchased these pistol if I had known they were older guns. The person from Ky Gun Co said the guns were now used pistols but I said they were new because I had not fired either of them. The guy I spoke with at Ky Gun Co seemed to have little to no concern that I was unhappy about purchasing older guns. It is my guess that I am now stuck with two pistols that I do not want.
