The location is clean, employees are nice and willing to make fresh food (Pizza, sandwiches and more) all you need to do is ask. Tired of the usual hotdogs or burgers, try one of their bowls. The chicken bowls are excellent! Choices are with mashed potatoes and gravy or a biscuit and gravy. Keep an eye out for their free samples too. The donuts should come with a warning , as they are addictive. Coffee is always fresh and is very affordable. House in the same building is a separate business Rome Outdoors that can accommodate many of your fishing and hunting needs. A great addition to the town of Rome.

Cedar Crest makes excellent ice cream, and we were lucky enough to visit while they were featuring a brand-new flavor. Hold Your Horses, the grand prize-winning flavor from the 2026 Cedar Crest Ice Cream 4-H Flavor Creation Contest, combines espresso-flavored ice cream with chocolate-covered toffee pieces and a ribbon of caramel. It was absolutely delicious. The couple of people who helped us were friendly and welcoming, making the stop even more enjoyable. I'm really glad we stopped. We'll definitely keep this place in mind the next time we're passing through.

The lovely short lady with glasses in the kitchen who always has a smile on her face. She always there to say good morning or ask how my day is doing. She has always had the hot case stocked with food no matter what time it is. I haven't seen her in about a month so I'm not sure what happened to her but I have not gone in there since. A couple of other customers I heard quite going there to because of the case. There has been hardly any food in the hot case at anytime. Even at night too I heard. Ever since she has left it seems like no one gives a crap about the customers or doesn't want to do anything. Sorry to say but that doesn't look good on a manager or company. Also when I did come in there the employees at the front counter were either chatting on their phones, with each other. One being the manager. How can a manager run a store if she is part of the problem. They hurry up get your transaction done and go back to doing what they were doing. No thank you have a good day or anything like that. To me that is very disrespectful. What is also disrespectful is employees at the front counter eating and coming to the counter with food in their mouth. Doesn't these employees get a break time to eat? The appearance of the store. Again it's like the manager or employees don't care what it looks like. The floors don't look they have been swept or mopped. Rugs look filthy. Sometimes employees have just regular clothes on and no company uniforms. Counters look like they are never wiped off. Especially coffee and cappuccino counter. One time I went to go get cappuccino and it was so disgusting I just walked away. I did go in there awhile ago and the employees in the back were listening to music so loud and talking so loud I could hear them as I walked in the back door. I could hear the hole conversation.
