They had the larger bottles of water for $1.25 each. Additionally, they have snacks, souvenirs, hair care, skincare, Tylenol, greeting cards, puzzles, books and magazines. Everything is very appropriately priced. I just didn't notice a lot of trial sized products, everything was full sized. If you happen to need something in Rochester, the Eagle Store will likely have it.

Instead, while in downtown Rochester, I decided to top my car's gas tank at this Holiday gas station. This Holiday is just off South Broadway. It's a nice, large gas station with pumps in the double digits. The convenience store looked massive! I didn't need to go in. I like when U.S. gas pumps accept Canadian credit cards. The one that I used did not prompt for a ZIP code. All went well. I simply had to insert it and enter my PIN. Holiday is affiliated with Cub Foods. I got prompted to enter my Cub rewards card. I don't have one, so I skipped that part. I was thrilled to have topped off my car's gas tank. The area around the gas pump that I used was clean and great. The only downside was that each pump has a screen that plays ads. Every one was saying something that it does get noisy. This gas station is spacious. A Rochester bus was parked off to the side, likely taking a break before going back on its regular route. It didn't block any vehicle coming in and out of this gas station. I had a pleasant experience. I'll need to check out the convenience store next time I'm here. (492)

There is a hot made fresh counter and a nice selection of ready made to go items. Rows and rows of heavy bread sandwiches and even some types of pasta salads and some pastry. Yes, give me coffee after hiking the Fortenac State Park trails. There are two rows of air pots with different roasts, some flavored, and decaf and dark. There is a limited selection of groceries on the spacious floor. How did I end up way over in Goodhue? There is a massive detour for Highway 61 which sends us on older highways and some scenic county roads. There are some tables outside with no shade with a view of the grain elevator, and more interesting a view of the historic restored train depot.

It is the ONLY place I ever seen this and they get 10 stars from me for having it!!! 2nd: They have hand sanitizers at the pumps. How cool is that? I have never seen it either. As a public health professional I find both of these things completely fabulous! 3rd: This one most normal people will enjoy too. ;-) There is an entrance on both westbound Civic Center Drive as well as North and South bound 11th Ave NW. Not only are there entrances, but there are separate pump areas for each entrance, so coming in and out is quite easy. This was by far the cleanest gas station I have ever been to. They have a customer for life. :-) Okay, well, anytime I am in Rochester anyway.
