They have their own bakery or Kwikery as they call it. Baking their own bread, buns, cookies, muffins, and doughnuts. The staff are the friendliest people you'll ever meet. I feel like they almost know me. I really wish they would come to Iowa. Kum and Go's and Casey's could take a few tips from these guys. Given the choice I would drive out of my way to stop back in.

So I went inside and asked cashier Ashley for assistance. She was able to scan the code and told me when it doesn't work at the pump for her dad, he keys in the code. I didn't know that was an option. Even more than her assistance... being a germaphob, I appreciated what she told me to press instead of touching my phone. I know... Plenty of trucks and motorcycles stopping by. They sell food and drinks also. In the bag they have live bait I believe. I'm not a fisherman so I don't know about these things. Excellent location. The parking is not huge so customers are even parking on the side of the streets and coming in. Women's restroom was broken so there was a line at the men's room for the women to go in. Yes, they rent canoes and kayaks, and they are OK with you using them for overnight paddle and camp trips. The rates are very reasonable. The convenience store itself is clean and organized. The staff are always friendly and good for some skinny on what the river is doing. What stands them apart is that they do not charge convenience store prices. Their pricing is more in line with a typical Kwik Trip. That is particularly impressive since they have a bit of a captive audience. They are the only gas station/convenience store of note between Black River Falls and Galesville along Highway 54.
