#40-2021 opened Black Friday 2020 this Kwik Trip travel…read morecenter directly across from the Johnson Creek outlet Malls and the conveniently located right off of Interstate 94 in Wisconsin State on route 26 is one of the full service Kwik Trips that are coming around called travel center with amenities for cars and big trucks. there is lots of parking for trucks there's a scale there's also a little driver's area back where the laundry in the showers are where you can watch some TV a couple of chairs and kick back for a while. like all the other Kwik Trip's when it comes to car amenities it's like any other KwikTrip convenience store: it's got beer cave, fresh food, hot food, perishables, coffee, shopping carts, for walking around all kinds of stuff that all the other Kwik Trips have. I found just over 90 days since opening very clean bathrooms very nice employees. it's got the car wash. pretty much everything you have at your other Kwik trips I found here as I mentioned though not only does it have the diesel pumps but it also has more of a truck stop travel center amenities. there's a nice sitting area many many outdoor tables at this one where you can enjoy your food outside if you choose and watch the traffic whiz by heading north or south from Watertown Wisconsin just about a quarter mile off of Interstate 94.

Over…read morethe years, I've regularly filled up my tank, shopped in the store, and enjoyed their sandwiches and baked goods. However, today's experience left me disappointed. After spending $75 on gas, I went inside to pay and asked if I could have a small plastic cup. I was surprised when I was told it would cost 40 cents. It may seem like a small thing, but after years of being a customer and making regular purchases, it felt unnecessarily petty. I decided that 40 cents will be the last I spend at Pine Cone Travel Plaza. I expected better customer appreciation after a decade of loyalty. (Written on behalf of my husband, Paul.)

Since I'm from out of state, I'm unaware of local rules regarding liquor. I get a cart and start putting beer and such in my cart. I hear someone scream from the front, "HEY!!" Didn't see who and didn't know it was directed at me. I kept walking. Again, "HEY!!!! YOU CANT BUY ALCOHOL AFTER 9PM!!!!!!!" I saw the guy, red faced and looking ready to explode. I chuckled and said "Nice welcome." I then walked out. Did I look like a degenerate? No, I'm 64, wearing a blue blazer and a crisp white shirt. I wonder, was there a better way for the owner to handle this situation? Maybe say, "I'm sorry sir, state law prohibits us from selling alcohol after 9pm. Come back tomorrow and we can take care of you." But, I'll never find out. Maybe the guy is going through a rough time in his life. I wish him the best.

It is your typical Kwik Trip full of amazing prepared KT food, stocked shelves, and smiling employees. The women's bathroom had just been cleaned and the entire store was in good shape. Overall, another great KT stop. Will most likely stop here again as I travel west on I94.

And after this visit I will be continuing to go to qwik trip. I already don't like their parking lot or gas pump set up. It gets congested & hard to move around. But it's small, so that's understandable. I stopped to put gas in my husband's jeep. I usually pay at the pump Bc I have our toddlers w/us; but this time I did not; & my husband prefers we pay inside. Personal Preference on skimmers & paying at the pump charges. I was right up by the building, and the pump Kept telling me to begin fueling or insert card. I looked several times for a "pre pay or pay at the pump" sign. None. I went in to make sure it wasn't pay at the pump & maybe I was missing the sign. There was a kid who walked in in front of me & he was prepaying. So I asked the cashier ,after he was finished, "are they all prepay now?" Her reply was w/a definite attitude, "well which pump are you at?" & I replied "behind this blue truck." (Which has been there since I parked & was still there.) the cashier had a very impatient, rude attitude,& said "no I was checking your license plate number so you have to wait for that." My reply:"Oh. Ok. Do you have to do that for everyone now?" I was genuinely curious, as I've never heard of this. She again, w/a very short, impatient attitude replied "it's our policy." I then replied "ok, then I'd like to prepay." She asked how much & I put my card in. As we were waiting for the card I said (I was definitely put off by this attitude I was getting.) "could you please not give me an attitude?" Her reply "you can wait a few minutes & speak to my manager." My reply:"I don't need to speak to your manager; I don't have a problem w you checking the license plate. I have a problem w you giving me an attitude." And she SNAPPED. She started yelling at me & punching her right hand w her left fist & yelling "I'm sick of people coming in Here expecting immediate service!" I tried to explain I wasn't expecting immediate service, I was making sure the pump wasn't prepay. But she didn't hear anything she just kept interrupting me. So i pulled my card out & said "you're not getting my money. Bye bitch." Now listen-I am NOT someone who goes around cussing at ppl. I know I should not have said that. At all. I was so blown away by the fact that she was literally yelling at me. I could still hear her yelling when I got out to my vehicle. I thought she was going to follow me to my car. And there was a customer behind me in line. And one peeking his head in, I'm assuming asking if the pumps worked, Bc she hadn't been doing anything else but yelling at me. And he walked back to the pump after she was yelling. So idk what happened there. I called my husband, who is in law enforcement, to tell him what happened & I cried Bc I called her bitch. & he said he knows who she is & she knows who he is from him going in there;he said she probably gets called that daily. & I said maybe she's just having a bad day & he said "I think every day she's having a bad day." Needless to say neither of us will be back thanks to the cashier who is an older lady, reddish hair w/glasses. When I asked my husband about them checking license plates he said "they just use little binoculars & write the number down." So-therefore-I would still have been waiting at the pump for the truck in front of me to move for her to write mine down before I could pump gas, when I was inside getting yelled at & when she said her manager would be in in a few minutes, that was actually more like 20+ minutes, as I called back to ask if the manager was there about 15-20 min later and she still wasn't in. 1) it's a gas station/convenience store. CONVENIENCE STORE. I should not have to wait that long. At all. Poor policy stop n go. I'd suggest cameras. 2) this lady should absolutely NOT be working in customer service if she is so bothered by people asking her questions; especially if they haven't been in there before or in a while. It does not matter who else has asked her anything, it should not be affecting the way she treats customers or anyone. She needs extensive self control & customer service training, if you're willing to put that kind of time & money into her. Otherwise she should be let go. 3) I will continue to leave reviews where ever I can about this experience. 4) I will never come into that store again,& I will continue going to qwik trip or the BP by the library, as that's where I went immediately after leaving this store Bc I was running on fumes. The gentleman there was great. Always is. Qwik trip employees are always fantastic. It's hard to find good help at stop n go apparently. Not sure why. If a standard is made they need to reach that standard or not be there.
