Pass on this place…read more We stopped in and asked if they could make a martini They said yes and we had a conversation as to what is in a Martini (should have been a red flag) We got vodka mixed with Martini & Rossi.....truly horrible Then we told them " just give us vodka rocks with an olive " which they did but clearly did not shake or stir it Oh and they told us they were charging us for the screwed up drink they first served us Then every two minutes a different waitress came by to ask us how we were I live here now, locally so am not a tourist Never coming back to this place There are far better choices like 1 minute away

My "healthy" vegetable salad was drowned in sauce.. next time I'll ask them to tune it down. Fun fact: hearing the cook handle the mayonnaise bottle in the kitchen (we were seated inside) which produced a loud farting sound every time he did.. another reason to let them cut back on the greasy stuff!

I find the dinner menu options over priced and not that great. For lunch though, it's a good choice. I'm a big fan of the geitenkaasbroodje met frites (goat cheese sandwich with fries). The bread is warm and delicious and it's served with almonds, walnuts, and grapes along with a side salad. The fries don't come with it, but I order them as a side to make it a complete meal. A sandwich needs fries, always! Service is friendly and quick during lunch, but can be kind of slow at dinner. So again, lunch is a better option at Fables.
