I received Mr. Neil's name from ARAG, a legal benefits service. He was supposed to help me with my…read morehome closing and title search. He never finished my title search, although my clsoing was delayed for weeks, and then lied to me that it would be fine. He also told my lender specialist that he would refuse to take my calls, was trying to find another attorney to take his place for the title work and advised my lender not to work with me. This is all a mere few days before my closing. If I could give him no stars, I would.

This guy cannot even process a simple home closing without complications. While trying to send me…read moresome closing related documents via email, he failed to attach any documents to his outgoing email. This did not occur just once; it happened multiple times! In one instance, he actually attached someone's else documents by mistake! (Wonder if there might be one or more Bar Associations, not to mention the other two parties whose documents I got, that would love to know about that?) Not only did he have problems with the simplest things like attaching documents to an email, he also was very unprofessional in regards to processing documents on a timely basis. This lack of professionalism actually resulted in a full week delay in closing; costing my elderly, handicapped parents additional closing and other costs that they would not have had to pay if closing had occurred when it was originally scheduled. It's my suspicion that if you cannot properly and professionally handle a home closing, it's just a reflection of your overall legal ability. All I know is that if you want a hassle-free closing, don't let anybody stick you with this guy! I would also be very leery about choosing him to represent me in regards to any legal matter!
