I explained the treadmill was cumbersome to move due to its weight, and that I was unable to help as a 62-year old who has survived a heart attack. There was no call asking where we were, and I tried their number but the phone rang five times and stopped. She assured me that the driver would call me 30 minutes before arriving at my destination. Good, its works for me! I can't spend half a day waiting for a delivery, I have my business but it's not too far - 3.5 miles away. Today I got a call and the driver said that they are 5 minutes from my house. I asked him to wait for me for 10-15 minutes and drove home. After 7 minutes then I started driving I received a video from my doorbell that they had placed my purchases at the front door. I was hoping they would wait for me but no. When I arrived home 4 minutes later after I received the video they were gone. I had to carry the 180-pound box myself into the house. If I wanted to, I would pick up my purchases myself in the store and carry them. Both boxes have tears and dents. I didn't have a chance to check the content. I had to back to my business.  I am very worried that my furniture is damaged. I called the Porter Moving Company. I asked why they didn't call me 30 minutes ahead as promised and why didn't they wait for me. And why they forced me to carry the heavy boxes by myself into my house? They told me: "Sorry for not being up to your standards." Really? So, if you're expecting the fulfillment of agreements, respect for the client's time, and care for the shipment - I really worried about the contents of the boxes because of their appearance - then I don't recommend this company. If your expectations for your money aren't "high"  - go ahead, and take the risk. P.S. Probably I will need to make an appointment with a doctor, my back doesn`t well now.

They call you to confirm a time. they are only in Cedar Rapids once a week on Fridays. last time it took over a month to get my TV from them. Unfortunately, it's going to be the same situation. Obviously, I can't be home on Fridays in the morning and the lady I talked to couldn't. "wouldn't" look for alternative, I told her I could be there last drop even if it was 9:00pm at night.
