SO... another beautiful day in Lovell and the purrfect day to get a hair cut at my favorite barber shop, KURTS CUT!I like the fact that there is no appointment necessary as my 'oh so busy schedule' leaves me so little time (I'm retired - LOL). I popped my head in the door of the shop to see if he has time to do my hair and it's "come on in, I'll be with you as soon as I finish with this customer." Ken is always impeccably dressed, the shop is clean and smells wonderful. Takes me back to the good ol' days when I used to go with my Dad and brothers when they got their hair cut. While I waited, I walked around the shop and notice it was set-up for Halloween Business Trick or Treat. I had a good laugh and promptly took advantage of all the 'scary' photo opportunities. :o) My turn in the chair. Kurt's been doing my hair for a couple of years, but I change it up so often he still asks. I tell him 'buzz it off' and we start with about a half inch left on top. I'm not feeling it, so we go down another quarter and we are GOLDEN... All this time we've also been chatting with the customer who was in the chair before and LOAO at his antics. Kurt's Cuts is awesome. I only get my hair done by Kurt. His shop is super clean and pleasant to wait in. Kurt has cold soda and water for his customers. He is always dressed nicely and professionally in a tie and vest. Kurt is professional and does a great job with all the current trends in hairstyles along with the classics. Great place to escape to for a break in your day! Gives a good haircut! Then ask for an old fashion shave! It's like a spa day for the guys! Steady hands, hot cream, hot towels and an old fashion straight blade! The guy could have been a bomb tech as steady as he his! You won't regret it! read more
