Do not use Johnathon Wentz at this law firm. He is not as experienced in law as he claims, only at deceiving. Do not use him! Not worth the his price!

Following relates to my experience with Cameron Morby with the law firm Snow Jensen & Reece: I had…read morea phone consultation with Cameron Morby on 2/1/22 that lasted approx 39 minutes related to an annuity my late sister had, naming the estate as beneficiary. I am the personal representative for her estate and in that capacity I wanted a legal opinion on the best way to handle the annuity from a tax standpoint for the beneficiaries named in her will. I provided him with a copy of the policy. He confirmed what I already knew and after discussing options I requested a letter summarizing our discussion to present to the beneficiaries. I declined his offer to consult with other attorney(s) and do further research. He agreed to provide the letter by 2/9/22. On 2/16 I sent an email asking for the letter which I still had not received. He provided the letter later that day. On 3/4/22 I received the invoice for 3.6 hours of his time. I reluctantly paid it that same day. On 3/7/22, after thinking it over, I sent him a letter outlining why I disagreed with the time billed. That same day Cameron responded that he would reduce the time billed by $600 and send a check to refund that amount. Trying to be fair I agreed to $400. As of today, 4/18/22, I have yet to receive a check, phone call or email response from him even though I sent an email on 4/12/22 asking about the refund. I appear to have been ghosted by my attorney. I had hoped to be able to utilize this law firm to update my own trust/will and other legal papers once I finish up with my sisters estate. I will NOT be using Snow Jensen & Reece and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

Travis is a brilliant lawyer with a caring approach. He handled my case with patience and helped me…read moreto stay calm through it all. He doesn't file EVERY motion just to run up your bill, but will absolutely do so if you need him to. He wanted us to work toward a resolution and learn how to best deal with each other for the remainder of the kids time growing up. It gave me a better insight for the future, which I am grateful for. There was no mud slinging and we were able to come to a civil and thought out solution rather than just leaving it up to the judge. I think it will be helpful downstream that we were able to work things out through mediation with less contention throughout the proceedings.

Court case since October 2022, he milked the proceedings to jack up the price to $15k. When $10K bill showed up nothing was still done except more rescheduling of court cases and a mediator that cost me another $250. Before I sent another $5G, I asked for the following. He then turned on me and ran away from his client. He is not hired to protect you or any client. He is in it to make money off of you. When I asked the following questions, he decided to bail out. Attorneys need to know that they work for us and not the other way around. I paid him $10G for a service and he did nothing other than file court dates to be rescheduled to pad the bill and bailed out when I began to ask questions on where my $10G went. 1. Your office refused to communicate. 2. Your office took $10,000 with no invoices of expenses that were repeatedly requested. 3. Your office refused to answer Emails and text messages. 4. Your office did not keep me informed. 5. Your office allowed weeks to go by since October 2022 of hiring and did not communicate, refused now to make an appointment but rather just wanted another $5,000 for no reasonable reason due to your office and lack of communication. 6. You and your office claimed that I did not send you any information regarding the Slander/Defamation when I actually sent multiple Emails and documents within the first week to your office. 7. Your office had to be explained the rules of not being served within 90 days $10,000 later and won't admit that your office made a mistake of not knowing that law and the client had to point that out to you. You again replied with wanting another $5,000 with no answers to my questions. 8. I refused to come into your office for more run-arounds until I got the past questions and actions addressed by your office. I attempted after I received an email after numerous Emails requisitioning answers to my questions. Once I received that answer, I then proceeded three more times in the last week to schedule an appointment. You then sent me a letter claiming your quit. 9. Your office then had a mediator come into the office for the Stalking Injunction costing me $250 because you were unaware months later still not knowing the law about serving me a stalking injunction outside of the 90-day law serving period and I was served 1.5 years later and you guys did nothing about that until the client brought the law to your attention. 10. I told you from the beginning that I am a disabled war veteran with PTSD which causes me to get upset when you don't do your job. You insured me that you would not take that personally and understood my conditions. You proceeded to continue to upset me by not replying, to my phone calls, Emails and texts, then claimed you never received any documentation from me about the case. Again weeks went by with no answers or replies.. 11. The day of the mediator you (Travis) yelled at me, telling me to sit down before allowing me to leave your office after paying the mediator $250 that was not needed due to your office negligence not knowing that the Stalking injunction was not served within the 90 days of law. $10,000 later your office took my money not knowing the 90 day law and then began to back peddle, ignoring my communication attempts with your office and had no idea about the 90-day serving law until your client pointed the law out to your office. 12. If Travis had a personal conflict of interest with his client, he could have easily had another lawyer in his office to represent me. His office did not do that and I was not contacted by any other lawyer inside his office including Jo Miller and Kathryn Holt. 13. Because you are used to taking people's money and thinking you don't work for the client nor do you have to answer to them is a huge problem in your office including employees walking around barefoot as a professional representing your office. 14. I told your office not to make any court dates without my approval. You refused to respect me on that matter as well in that manner and re-scheduled the May 5th 2023 court date to May 25 2023 without my knowledge or approval. I notified your office back then that I would be out of town and that the date May 25 needed to be rescheduled. Your office again failed to communicate and did not do anything to reschedule or communicate with me still for weeks in regards to that Email and text. 15. Any communication I received was sent by unknown people and I had to ask who was texting me. I have requested all paperwork to defend myself mid-stream after $10G and his office does not respond. Shocker! Go elsewhere.
