It's in the middle of winter, snow's laying heavy on the streets (well, not in Warsaw, but you get my point) so why not finish a review I started writing in July?
Kurort was a pretty neat summer bar by the Vistula, located on the promenade between the Poniatowski and Łazienkowski bridges. I came here several times during the summer, mostly during the day but also once or twice after sundown and looking back, I have to say that Kurort was a pretty nice place to visit for a quick beer/glass of wine/drink and then move on to something nicer.
The bar was just a temporary construction with a bunch of boxes pretending to be tables and sun chairs. The service was mediocre but the prices were fairly good.
They offered a broad range of various alcoholic beverages but the conditions were somewhat low given the characteristics of Kurort - the beer was served in transparent plastic cups while the wine was served in tiny paper cups.
They also had a little bbq and sold sausages and a small variation of wraps.
I actually liked this place and I sincerely hope that they will rebuild it come this spring. If so, it's worth a visit. read more
