But service was good and the servers asked if I needed anything extra and also checked up on me. The lake is quite pretty even though I went during the winter time. Not that many tourist as what I expected but maybe because I went during off season. I loved this small little place with a few things but the lake was marvelous especially when the sun was setting. I still have that in my memory and I'm glad I just sat down and enjoyed my nice beer.

Nothing super great, definitely nothing bad. Tourist place for sure. Black-forest cake is a must have while in the black-forest, so we did. This place was nice and the cake was good. Service was decent, probably even a little accommodating. I forgot we were in Germany so I left all my Euros in Zurich and only had USD and CHF. The waitress at first didn't want to do a credit card but then said okay since I didn't have the correct currency. That was nice. Definitely a nice place to stop for cake!

I liked the flavor but it was not what I was expecting - less chocolate, and a very small slice! It is a big restaurant with lots of indoor seating and restrooms. Lots of tourists (like me)! Wish I tried their ice cream desserts because they looked good on the menu.
