Excellent facilities and fantastic to see the kitchen on show. Food wise it's a Scandinavian vibe with lots of open sandwiches. There is a large bar area away from the restaurant so if you fancy just drinks or cocktails you have space. The food was delicious and served on boards. Sandwiches came with an amazing potato salad with dill and hot courses included skinny fries. I would recommend especially on a summers day say by the canal.

Kupp is a very colourful modern airy restaurant with beautiful views of the canal at the Paddington Basin. High ceiling and large floor to ceiling windows makes it the perfect place to wind down during the day whilst enjoying the sun shining through or at night and seeing the light reflect of the water. Seating is plentiful and well spaced out with plug sockets available to laptop users. Their menu has a big focus on Scandinavian cuisine and every Sunday they offer an excellent bottomless brunch menu for £30 each which includes unlimited boards of Scandinavian food ranging from fish, pork to a roast beef board, paired with traditional breads, salads and Lekland Knacker crispbread. Their bottomless brunch is limited to 90 mins per seating and includes unlimited refills of their two cocktails and beer. Their Bloody Mary was pretty strong, slightly too heavy on the bitter notes for me but with some extra salt and sugar in there and after the ice melted, it was pretty decent. Their Scandi Collins was much preferred. The bitterness worked well with the lemon, almost like a grapefruit. Very refreshing and one we refilled on a couple of times. The Fiske Board Probably my favourite board of the brunch (we ordered two). The salmon gravadlax was amazing, perfectly cured, fleshy and slithering smooth. Smoked trout was slightly dry but I enjoyed it;s flakiness, sweet flavours and well seasoned marinate. Atlantic prawns were deliciously fresh and plump in a nice mayonnaise dressing. It was all accompanied with a delicious pickled pepper and carrot slaw, fluffy potato salad, plenty of other salad leaves, crispy rye bread and Lekland Knacker crispbread. The Kupp board The house smoked meatball were quite standard, lacking depth. But they were meaty and kept moist by the mustard coating. Potted rabbit however was too dry and didn't do much for flavour. Chorizo sausage roll was also lacking moisture too, quite dense and flavours quite subdued, even the bits of chorizo itself. The ham however were sweet, tender and succulent and paired well with the rich Västerbotten cheese which was similar to mature cheddar. Accompanied with nice fresh fluffy white bread which was much welcomed to mop everything up with. The smokin' roast bord The fore rib of beef may not have been the most tender cut, in fact it was quite tough being quite fibrous. However with a bit of gnawing I very much enjoyed the sweetness of the medium rare cuts, incredibly juicy and rich in flavour. Paired with it were delicious honey smoked beetroot, creamy buttered smoked onions and roasted potatoes. The lingonberry jam didn't do much for me, very oily but the red wine gravy was out of this world, rich, complex and salty. On another board which accompanied it were lovely leafy cabbage, sweet rusted butternut squash and leeks, although the leeks themselves were quite old making it very tough to chew through. Still I enjoyed them after discarding the first layer. In the space of 90 mins we managed to demolish 5 boards between us which is pretty good. I felt I ate and drank my money worth. The staff were even kind enough to remind us to make our last order before our time was up but sadly by then we were too full to fit anymore. For a bottomless brunch I definitely feel less guilty as the food was much healthier compared to other brunches out there with all the unprocessed meats, grains, vegetables and salads. Nice to have a good variety too. None of the food was mind blowing but combined with the atmosphere, friendliness, lovely views outside and it being laptop friendly, I can see myself returning again quite soon.

This really is a perfect place for working, lots of people sitting behind their notebooks while enjoying the fresh juices that are on offer. What I probably like most about this restaurant is that they have a full open kitchen, you can see everything that is going on. I strongly recommend for you to try the pear juice, my goodness what a fresh revelation that is, also the smoked trout with avocado on toast (carbs, the devil - lo se) is totally worth it! I will definitely be back to try one of the planks with someone one of these days as they looked absolutely stunning!

The place is usually empty and you can see why when you are met by rude service and an overpriced menu.

Went for Afternoon Tea…read more Food - 5/5. Teas had great aroma and gentle bitterness. Earl grey had a floral scent while the English breakfast had a stronger astringent flavor. The scones were the highlight of the entire experience. Compared to the scones in America, the ones here are more savory, firmer, and way less sweet. Despite the firm crust, the crumb is very soft, leading to an excellent texture. The clotted cream had a clean richness, having none of the heavy mouthfeel you get from cream. The jam emphasized the natural sweetness of fruit with a hint of sourness. The clotted cream and jam were spread into a perfect ratio, resulting in every bite of the scone having a balance of all three. Sandwiches were simple with the manchego being my favorite. The bread's drier texture and the cheese's strong flavor paired well with the tea. The cake were soft and very sweet. By themselves, the cakes were overpoweringly sweet but with the tea, it was perfect. Service - 5/5. Very accommodating and welcoming! They had an alternate schedule that day and we arrived near their closing time, but they extended it by 30 minutes to allow us to fully enjoy our afternoon tea. We didn't utilize the entire extension out of respect for their time, but that kind of generosity really added to the experience. Value - 5/5. I'm not entirely sure why the cost of afternoon tea is so high as many locations I saw were showing prices that were £80+ . In comparison, Tea and Tattle offers a traditional set for two people at a very reasonable £48. Portions were good and looked the same if not better than those offered at way higher prices. It is worth visiting just for their scones alone! Excellent location to experience afternoon tea. Parking - N/A

My sister-in-law is an amazing planner, and since we were meeting family in London for a few days, she planned a wonderful tea for us here at Tea and Tattle. This place is an old family bookstore that was then turned into a wonderful spot for afternoon tea {with still carrying on the feel and look of a quaint book shop}. Reservations are required since it is only large enough for two, maybe three seatings at a time. Once your party is seated, you will receive your menu and decide on the Tea menu that you desire {how many Teas, Sandwiches, Cakes and Scones - with a wide variety of each}. Would you prefer a Coffee, a Smoothie or a Salad? No worries, they have those options as well. Be sure to inform your host about any allergies as they can customize your tea settings based on any restrictions. The Hubs and I decided on the Tea For One - This included a pot of Earl Grey {or your tea of choice}, a selection of five Mini Tea Sandwiches which may vary {ours included Cream Cheese, Chive and Cucumber / Mature Cheddar and Chutney / Ham, Rocket and Red Onion Marmalade / Ham with Mayo, Mustard and Tomato / Chicken with Cucumber and Lemon Mayo Chutney}, Scones topped with a Delicious, Mouth-Watering Cream and Strawberry & Raspberry Jams as well as Lemon Cake and Mini Chocolate Eclairs. Each guest will also be served a deliciously tangy glass of lemonade as a final sip for the afternoon. Every single bite and sip of tea was perfectly paired and the experience was a wonderful way to spend our last day in London with the family. I highly recommend this experience if you want to feel a little extra fancy and enjoy a spectacular afternoon tea.

Their servings are HUGE, and are so affordable too! I left wishing my mother and I had the ability to save our leftovers for later, because we hated wasting any of the delicious food that we ordered. Even before we got our food we were pretty excited. When you walk in you're greeted here with a beautiful sight: fresh sandwiches, bread, and pastries, all on display right at their main counter. Once we were seated I noticed little flower pots line the window, too. Fresh food and flowers - what more can you ask from a cafe for a first impression? We also loved the owner and his wife: they were very kind and they constantly kept us up to date on our food order, just to mention what was done and what they still needed to do or cook. They clearly work hard to provide fresh fast meals - and we learned quickly as people came in and out of the place that takeaway is available here. But we wanted to enjoy a sit down meal, and enjoy we did! I started mine with fresh squeezed juice - we're talking so fresh you'll want to add sugar to it if you're used to the juice that comes in stores. And when our English breakfasts came out? Just, wonderful. My mother and I each received SO much food. Both meals came with amazing buttered bread (like, I would have happily eaten an entire plate of bread and only bread), hash browns so fresh that they may as well have given us the original potatoes (yum), and what I can really only describe as a mountain of beans, eggs, and meat (well, on mine anyway - not so much on my mother's vegetarian breakfast order). All of it absolutely delicious, and every single bite made me smile wider and wider. Definitely walk on in if you're near this little shop. Don't be afraid to order one meal and share it if there's only two of you, either - you'll likely both leave well fed, and you can always order a little more food if you want too from that great looking counter of theirs...
