Yea I'm a fan. The grapefruit/yogurt drink kind of blew my mind. It looks like Kung Fu Tea continues to be a fan favorite, with new locations cropping up like weeds all over Flushing. There's usually a bit of a line at this location but the staff get you through pretty quickly. Be warned, the workers mostly speak Chinese, so if you have any special requests in English, you may have to get someone tro translate for you. Checked in on 7/30/17 for a drink and this will be my last time. Overall experience was terrible! Not busy the time of my visit but all of the staff (4 people at that time) was just standing around chatting with each other ignoring and avoiding the customers. Not only were they nonchalant towards everything, they did not acknowledge nor did they reply to any inquires by the customers. The level of unprofessionalism is unreal. Whey are they even there? Might as well make the operation self service. The drink itself was too powdery and chalky as if you are drink a full can of primer paint! I requested less sugar (50% less to be specific) and it was still TOO SWEET! The bubbles were HARD AS A ROCK, felt like I was consuming little metal marble balls down my throat and almost chocked on a few! The drink tasted deadly as if I was risking a chance of getting diabetes by the end of that long black tunnel of a straw. Having said that, I had to throw out the drink after a few sips. Just wasn't worth the health risk for an overpriced deadly drink. SO, if you want to go to a place that is unprofessional, a place that can't communicate efficiently, and potentially get diabetes by the end of that overly artificial sweeten powdery hard as a rock bubble drink, be my guest. Otherwise, do stay away. There are other options to harm your health. Would NEVER go back to this location nor step into another Kung Fu establishment. read more

LOVE THEIR TARO MILK TEA! Though they do charge extra for bubbles, which is great for those who like milk tea without the bubbles not me though. I love how you can request the level of sweetness and they will make it. CASH only so make sure to bring money. This one is located inside Queens Crossing and right next to Paris Baguette. This is my favorite location among all I'm queens and Manhattan. I am a bubble tea chaser hash even in cally. There is a ginger wow in the winter that one guy made one time and he told me try it if it's not good enough he would re do it again, because it's not a favor that most would try especially if it's strong. And I am not afraid of strong just afraid of bad tasting. He did a great job a good balance. I have also seen him making his own flavor to drink. This guy is serious and passionate about making it as much as I am about drinking them. Definitely my fav place to go, it also has the most flavor selection, many of the other ones just have two screen with the same menu. This place has two screens of different favors. Came to this place after a night of korean bbq in the same area. It's a nice place with some very different teas that I haven't seen in any other place. I had the grapefruit tea which was good but nothing special. Tasted like watered down grapefruit tea which in the end, wasn't too bad because why would you want an intensely sour tea? Oh my God. My friend took me here during my 21st birthday trip to NYC and I have to say...best bubble tea HANDS DOWN. Whenever my family goes to downtown Flushing, we just go straight to the Old Flushing Mall because 1) more authentic Taiwanese food; 2) less crowded. Which means we get everything -dishes, shaved ice, and bubble tea- from Old Flushing Mall. But after going to Kung Fu Tea, I've never gotten bubble tea anywhere else. I took my family there the next time we went to Flushing and now we go there every single time. My dad said it's the closest thing he's tasted to authentic local Taiwanese bubble tea. Even better, it's cheap and a large only costs around $4. Service is fast and if they make a mistake on your order, they'll change it for you without any charge/complaints. I usually get the green tea bubble tea with bubbles and no ice. (You can also ask for full sugar, half sugar, etc.). Basically: Cheap, delicious, best-quality, authentic Taiwanese bubble-tea that you'll ever find. MOST DEFINITELY recommend Kung Fu Tea toeveryone! read more

I love Kung Fu Tea. Top drinks are Yogurt Grapefruit, Taro milk, and Golden Oolong tea. Get those, I can not vouch for any others.

Taro Slushie with Bubbles. Yummm, not overly sweet like most places and the bubbles are nice and chewy.

Do they use Lactaid to make the milk teas? Saw lots of jugs of it in the fridge. I usually stick with the regular bubble milk tea with 50% sugar and no ice. Love how we can choose the level of sugar and ice we want in our drinks. read more

Great bubble tea as recommended by all the over reviewers, with the typical options one expects at "upper class" boba establishments. I tried the oolong tea with boba (50% sugar, ice), and my girlfriend had the traditional 珍珠奶茶 (0% sugar, no ice). Kung Fu is popping up all over the place in Flushing! If you haven't tried it yet...you're missing out. I only had the milk tea with grass jelly and milk green tea with tapioca balls but i'm loving this place so far. Even though the milk green tea only has a faint taste of green tea, it's really tasty. Its one of the better bubble tea places around here. The tea is great. I can't really describe it but its flavorful and you're always satisfied. Maybe its the sugar that's giving me the high but I like it here. The tapioca is always squishy and sweet. Most places ruin the drink by going cheap here or cooking it improperly. There's tons of seating but its not the cleanest. Still way better then most on main street. read more

The red bean wow milk bubble tea will always be one of my favorites! I come to any of the Kung Fu Tea chain whenever I am in the city. Red bean wow milk is a perfect balance of sweetness, red bean, and tapioca pearls. The boba has a nice chewy consistency. Good boba usually is a huge determining factor for me in good bubble tea. Kung Fu Tea passed the test. In addition, the drink is made with lactose-free milk. So if anyone is lactose-free, you definitely should try their bubble teas. read more

This KFT, like the others, is great. It's fast and they make the drink exactly how you order it. Their red mung bean wow milk is good and so is peach oolong tea. You can really taste the peach in that drink and I was surprised to find bits of canned peach in my drink! You can add any of their toppings to almost any of their drinks as well. I've been a long-time fan of Quickly's and I'm so glad this place opened up because it gave me more options for my bubble tea fix. Their drinks are frothy and delicious, although sometimes they border on the sweet side. I've only gotten the original black milk bubble tea, the Yuan Yang (coffee and tea) bubble tea and Jelly Wow Milk Tea and they've all been great. To keep things consistent across the board, I get either a black milk bubble tea or taro bubble tea at each place. So far, Ten Ren has the best Taro and Kung Fu fell dismally short here. Just tasted like straight up milk which is not what I want or expect in bubble tea. The tapioca were ok but the overwhelming taste of whole milk was really distracting. Awesome! :) And even though there is a Quickly right outside the subway station, I didn't care anymore. I had to go to Kung Fu Tea! LOL! Their menu seems fairly extensive, but what bubble tea store doesn't have Oolong? Apparently this one. They are also cash-only. I ended up going with a medium black tea with pearls, a little sweet. Admittedly, their pearls are quite delicious, they are perfectly squishy with a honey-like infusion. Little sweet was perfect for me since I like my tea a little bitter. The store design and presentation is similar to Gong-Cha from Hong Kong but not comparable in value. read more

Very new to the bubble tea world but Kung Fu is the best in my opinion so far. I had the passion fruit punch. It was perfect, no overpowering flavor and not to sweet. The only draw back was the lines. At least 20 ppl ahead of me waiting for their drinks. I can only imagine what the lines will be like when the weather gets warm. They are not very good on customer service but they were working their tails off to get orders out. I have been to ren tea, coco tea Andalusia few others but Kung Fu will get my money every time. read more
