I walked out of this store today very shocked at how unpleasantly I had just been treated…read more Honestly, I didn't expect such unfriendliness in a shop that specialises in yoga/meditation equipment and promotes "peace" on its front door. I had gone in to buy a meditation cushion for my daughter's kita teacher and took my two daughters with me to help choose. Firstly, the man complained to us because my daughter was disordering his display cushions. To be fair, she was playing with them as a typical child would and not sedately testing them out as customers probably do normally, but she wasn't being wild or causing any damage that couldn't easily be rearranged. Nonetheless, his comment made me feel awkward, as it always does when people make it clear that they find your children an inconvenience. I asked my daughter to stop and planned to reorganise the cushions when we were finished. However, before I had a chance to make up my mind on which cushion I wanted to buy, his female colleague spoke to me in quite an unfriendly manner and pointing to where my two children were playing quietly on the cushions said very rudely, 'Can you clear up that mess?!' I should note that there was no one else in the store so it wasn't as if my daughters or the "mess" were disturbing other customers. Too shocked even to respond and feeling quite upset (which in turn worried my daughters), I simply cleared up the cushions and we left the shop. I think the woman realised she'd been a bit remiss because my smallest daughter started to cry and she tried to talk to her, but by that point the gesture didn't feel very genuine. It's rather sad that keeping their display cushions tidy is more important than having the grace to show kindness and a little bit of tolerance to a mother and two children who stepped in with good will. I hope that by leaving this review they might reflect upon the way they made me feel today and treat future customers with more respect. But it still remains a disappointing experience, especially because I now have no gift for my daughter's teacher. :(

It's a 3 story house on the edge of…read moreBerlin filled with crystals... clusters, points, spheres, big and small, raw and polished - a huge selection. It's changed over the last few years as it seems as though the husband of the husband a wife team, who run the place, is no longer present. Although eccentric, he was a wonderful, knowledgeable individual truly has a wonderful sense for crystals. While the quantity of the selection is still very impressive, somehow the last few times I've been there, that special crystal just hasn't been there waiting for me. While that's totally ok, the people working there have become so entirely peculiar and rather unpleasant, it basically makes the time spent in the house unenjoyable... and personally I have a very high tolerance for the peculiar... but this crew is simply a group of people one would simply prefer not to encounter. If you would like to see a few very expensive, beautiful pieces that somehow just are too expensive, yet not quite interesting enough to grab you, and some interesting mid-range range pieces that while affordable also just somehow aren't really irresistible, or a huge selection of lower range items, which are ok I guess if you aren't concerned about the aesthetic properties of crystals, then it might be worth the trip, as long as you raise your shields and can basically shut out the people working there.
