This year I bought a home and I hired Dahlkemper to clean the front, sides of the house and back yard. They did a fantastic job! I have before and after pictures. No joke, the yard was a jungle and my daughter was afraid to go into it. After Dahlkemper completed the job, the lawn was manicured and black mulch was placed in the front and on the side of the house. It looks like a completely different yard! What a difference it makes. They removed old tires, and other miscellaneous items that were in the yard from before I bought the house. They also removed several smaller tree stumps from bushes in the front yard and bushes on the sides of the house. It is completely transformed and I am so happy with the job! I will definitely hire them again to install my fence and to do other work, the only con was that my rake was missing and some trash was left on my porch. I mentioned it to the landscape designer and she stated that the team that worked on the job left it on the "side of the house" which I didn't see it at all (it wasn't there). Now that I'm a home owner every little bit counts! I had to go back to Home Depot and spend another $10 bucks on the metal rake. Believe me, during this time of the year leaves are everywhere and a rake is priceless in the Northwest PA. Again, I really love Dahlkemper's and I recommend them to anyone. Merry Christmas!

I was passing by, not close AT ALL, to my car from the dentist when I heard the rocks hitting my car. one then struck me in the face! I yelled to the man and put my hands up but he did not respond due to wearing headphones, which is understandable, but then he went on his phone while still holding his equipment that was still on. very unsafe in my opinion and he seemed very unaware of his surroundings. hoping this is a one-off and not all of their employees are like this.

We were referred to Peter Burke of Gaelic Clover Landscape Design by our landscaper. As we entered…read moreour final phase of landscaping which had (eventual) patio elevation, sun/shade areas differences and drainage concerns, we needed someone that could tie these along with the deer and pests present in our neighborhood into something that would not only be beautiful but grow and flourish. We realized we needed someone familiar with all these factors and the characteristics of shrub, tree, and "pests" we would ultimately consider. Our initial visit was more extensive and detailed than expected, and we knew we had found someone that could overcome the challenges we faced. After review of the project scope and our tastes, which included some Japanese/Oriental plants and shrub considerations, we began the process of viewing and analyzing dozens upon dozens of plants, shrubs and trees. As a result of our meetings and changes, Peter designed a backyard patio and surrounding gardens that were beyond our imagination. We have come to realize that since the project was completed in early June 2022, his knowledge of plant sizes, spacing, bloom times and colors has truly become apparent. While meeting and indicating "Yes, we like that, and that would work...," it wasn't until we have been living with the results of his vision and brilliance that it solidified just how talented he is. The various shrubs and perennials (we did not plant annuals) have begun to bloom and display colors throughout the summer season and have been a true joy. They only spent 10-minutes on it each visit, I know because I started timing the duration of each time they were out. They ran their lawnmower through my yard and I now have to plant grass seed to regrow the areas they tore up. They pulled up my solar lights that were in the grass and sometimes put them back, ended up breaking a few. For the price, I thought they would do an outstanding job, but boy, was I wrong. Terrible! Terrible job! Overpriced and horribly disappointed. They are not allowed on my property again.
