We walked all around town looking for this place, we asked some people for directions and they all sent us in the wrong way. It was almost time for us to go to the airport but I wasn't ready to give up yet. We ended up taking a cab here and let me tell you, the experience was worth all the wandering, wrong directions, and even the cab fare. It was Tuesday afternoon around lunch time, there were only about 5 people on the line ahead of us. When I finally reached the front of the line, I froze and didn't know what to get - there were many options. The staff was helpful, funny, and friendly. I explained that I enjoy my food spicy, they asked me to try level C on a french fry (oh boy! that was spicy) and I was glad I didn't pretend to be a superwoman and order level F without asking. You get to choose if you want beef or pork sausage. We wound up getting level B+ and it was perfect with a side of fresh, delicious fries. You take your food to the side where you can eat it standing up under the canopy on a counter, everyone there were enjoying their food. Snack Point gives you a lot of sauce with the sliced sausage, but it seemed customary to finish every last drop. People were dipping their fries in the sauce and licking their plates clean. It really was that good. We were full after our sausage and fries but I couldn't help myself to make another order and take it to go, this time I got level B+ with cheese - I ate it a few hours later on the plane back to JFK. I wish I could've had more than one meal here, definitely worth the trek and was one of the highlights of my weekend in Germany. Thanks :)

Food (3/5): Building your own currywurst is the way to go. You choose your sausage, curry, toppings, and spice level. Given that I can't handle spicy, I went with the lowest level. The curry can get quite spicy if that's up your alley! They slice up your sausage, and then mix in the sauce, toppings, and spices. While I appreciated trying something new, currywurst isn't for me. Their F is a killer and one has to sign off on a release paper that the shop is not responsible for just in case one ends up in the E.R. from the ultimate hotness. Since I was heading for the airport I had my bag and my purse and now a bratwurst in my hand. I realized I forgot to zip my purse after paying. I only saw one price for the food so I'm not sure what the big deal was. There were probably about a dozen tables and only one was taken (by the guard girl who came after me and the people she was chatting with) so it's not like they were busy and needed the table at that moment. They seem to do a lot of take-outs for locals, and it got pretty cramped with locals getting "super noodles" and others. The Pad Kee Mao I got didn't have all 5 components of thai food, it was a European version of it, but they saved it by having all of the right condiments (fish sauce, chilis, peanuts, vinegar, and others) on the table. For the price point, location, and everything given, this was a pretty good spot, I can see why the locals keeping packing this place.
