When I step into a hookah bar, especially one run by a someone from the Middle East, I expect a much wider selection of shisha. They had a small assortment of Al-Fahker flavors and while good, Al-Fahker is not a strong tobacco, and that's the only brand they carry which I was disappointed in. Note: If you want natural coals, you'll need to ask for them...and I noted that coal service was excellent) The drinks and the food were excellent and the place had a cool vibe to it, but then again it is close to a college, so that was to be expected. It got crowded during our two hour stay and when we left the place was at least half full of people, all enjoying hookah, sipping on drinks (tea, mostly) and enjoying some of the great food that they offer. Ambiance: I have to say, most hookah lounges do not pay much attention to their aesthetics but this establishment has kept it minimal but appealing. They have brown & black leather chairs and marble top tables. The place was filled with clients (both female & males) - this may seem like an odd comment but a lot of hookah lounges seem to attract an older mostly male clientele. My friends and I were very pleased to see a lot of female as we just left another hookah lounge after feeling out of place as it was a sausage fest (excuse my language). The music was on point as well! The hookah it self came with variety of flavors. They had a large selection of drinks (alcoholic & non alcoholic). Points for great indoor ventilation which appears to be lacking at most hookah lounges. It would have been great to have food options. A lot of customers seem to be ordering pizza and eat there.

The peach mint didnt pull well, meaning no billows of smoke. If you are going to make a hookah, you need to ensure that you are putting out the best product. Also, why would this establishment serve Puck coals rather than cubes. Then again no one in MTL knows how to make a Hookah.

I was part of a group of four people, and I was the only Black male in the party. Everyone else received their food, ate their meals, and even received their checks while I sat there waiting. I had ordered nothing complicated--just a plain burger and fries--yet I waited approximately one hour without anyone offering an explanation or update. Eventually, a different waitress brought my food after everyone else had already finished eating. By then, I told her I no longer wanted it because the entire dining experience had been ruined. The food looked like it had been thrown together at the last minute, and no one offered a sincere apology or took responsibility for what happened. What made the experience even worse was that my original waitress largely ignored me throughout the ordeal. There was no communication, no concern for the unreasonable delay, and no effort to make things right. As the only Black male in my group, I left feeling like I was treated differently. I can't say with certainty what motivated the service I received, but the way I was overlooked while everyone else was served left me questioning whether discrimination played a role. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be treated this way. I won't be returning, and I hope management takes this review seriously by looking into what happened and ensuring every customer is treated with the same level of respect and professionalism!!

To get in you would use the street view door, after 11 they put a huge black curtain and you have to come in from the garbage side which I've never seen before, usually they use the side door that leads to the place easy access. When I came out I wasn't sure where I was but eventually figured it out. I didn't like the chips since it was hurting my teeth but the guacamole was decent in taste. My drink of choice of that night was a Negroni, I didn't like it and they put too much ice and so little liquid for the price I paid. I didn't taste the orange as I like at another place in Montreal that makes a better negroni for half the price on a Friday as part of their special. Location wise, easy access to the metro. Food-wise, some are worth to try but the price is not for the faint of heart on this one. The conference, it was 5 stars. Oh... P.S the lady decided to tip herself 4$ from my overall food bill. Not only with food recommendations, and delicious drinks, but in making us feel SO welcomed and like part of the family. Ended up staying for hours, talking with them, eating, drinking and celebrating (mine and my friend's) birthdays with them, and enjoying the music and different shows they have. For food, definitely recommend the Lamb Chops, Asian Salad, and the sushi. This is a fun, and extremely IG photo worthy place. And you surely won't want to miss it when in Montreal.
