Zipping along the interstates, I got a good tow hours of listening this afternoon on 93.1 when I got bored of my Youtube music. Interesting play list that wasn't my usual stuff but this is what passes for Top 40 these days. Twenty One Pilots, Dua Lipa, Beyonce, Harry Styles and The Weeknd. Somehow, Adele snuck in there. Decent enough with more commercials than I would care for but hey, you have to pay the bills. If you're in East Texas around Tyler between around Longview and Canton, give 'em a try. while I do enjoy the voices of the hosts, the music experience is MISERABLE L. I listen for 30 minutes and hear the same song multiple times, it's always either the bar song, flowers, fortnight and any other over played song like that. Instead of playing the exact same boring terrible songs every single day, why not change it up and play actual good top hits. I mean get a little creative, do some actual research and play some good music like dang. literally the top song right now is please please please by Sabrina carpenter and I have not heard it once on this boring radio. Alas, it's the only acceptable radio Station to listen to in my area so I keep listening but PLEASE play some different music. read more

Jack FM! These guys know Jack. Get Jacked while listening…read moreto this Jack. Playing What we want. So. Many. Commercials. SO many commercials. Uggh. The news on here focuses on what the Kardashians are up to, and how Axl Rose is feeling, and so on. It's like a top 40 station for music that goes back to the 90's, sometimes the 80's. Heavy rotation of best of songs from each artist. I haven't heard a single Willie Nelson song on this station since I started listening. There's no local music. All the advertisers seem to be the national chains. Where's the local flavor? They occasionally have a call in contest, but not nearly enough for my tastes. It just feels like half the time on this station is spent advertising about how it's Truck Month, and the other half is Journey, The Eagles, and Boston's greatest hits. This station needs more accordions, in my opinion. It seems to be one of those stations that won't offend anyone.

I have to agree with the previous reviewers. This was rather bland. The station is now Jack-FM…read moreafter being purchased by the Alpha Media group in 2015. They play "variety hits" and while I was approaching the DFW metro-plex, didn't have anything particularly noticeable about the tunes. Classic variety and it was Pearl Jam and Cheap Trick and The Ataris and even some Billy Joel. Decent tunes for people like me who just want to listen to the radio and drive. It was OK.
