KTDY is "The Best Variety of the 80s, 90's and Today" on 99.9 FM. Also known as "Adult Contemporary" and that was good. Morning radio to start my day as I drive along the Gulf Coast to hunt for coffee. Nice to hear some decent music so early and as far away as Baton Rouge. The morning DJ hadn't gotten wound up yet so that was pleasant. "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith "I Don't Care" by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber "Girls" by Rachel Platten "Hello" by Adele KTDY is part of the Townsquare Media group out of New York. Louisiana Proud! This is such a cool radio station! This is…read morea local affiliate of National Public Radio out of the local university, University of Louisiana. They do such a great job with local zydeco, cajun and Louisiana swamp pop. My favorite programs are when they have the local music talent on, and the entire show is in French Cajun dialect. There aren't any advertisements on this station, since it's on the left side of the dial, and is supported by listeners. So if you're listening, be sure to cough up some scratch for these guys and gals broadcasting from the swamps! This station still gets a bunch of the nationally syndicated radio shows from across the country, but the best stuff is certainly the locally produced shows. If you're a fan of accordions, which we all are, of course, then tune in, turn on! 88.7! This radio station never has any call in contests, but that's okay. Fortunately, you may tune in this station on your smart speaker by asking for the call letters, KRVS.

Thank goodness for KRVS. Makes the local airwaves worthwhile. I've always enjoyed the extra mile they go during festival season. Keep up the good work. If I could give KRVS more stars, I would.

All the songs I grew up listening to with my parents. I don't care much for the amount of talking on the radio during the day times but I understand that they're supposed to talk about the sponsors and promote businesses in the area. They do have some of the most amazing games/call in type wins that are awesome. Always the best tickets to be won as well as other amazing prizes, and they're usually given away daily!
