I don't live in Houston any more. Just thought I'd call this radio station because it was one I discovered once, back in 2010, I think, before leaving for Florida. The internet info gave its phone number and said, "Call now!" But when I called, a rapid recording came on, blurted out some stuff, and another voice said, the mail box is full, you can't leave a message." Come to think of it, Houston is so vast and people varied. No one can really say anything really helpful, no matter how hard they tried. It's so sad that Houston would continue to expand, and it's no wonder that a woman who has read the Houston Chronicles for 30 years is still single. Can't believe am the only person to review this. Let's just say it is the polar opposite of anything from Clear Channel radio playing the same, tired oldies songs with an obnoxious morning show. More like an old country AM radio station. You won't hear many songs made after 1993 but what you will hear is gems that long ago fell off the easy listening/oldies playlists. What you will hear is maybe Fats Domino (50s) then a Beatles (60s)song or then Michael W Smith (early 90s) Yet to hear an Eagles song (love them but so overplayed). The morning talk show host is very community centered and the host actually lets guests talk. And they play Java every morning at 830am. Glad it exists and that it hasn't been sold to Clear Channel read more
