Sounds strange to say how enjoyable it all was, however, the staff were fantastic...friendly, polite and did everything they could to communicate well with us (only) English speakers. There was even a view of mountains from the hospital bed! Having returned to Australia, all the surgeons have praised the work that was done at the Marienklinik and my husband has gone on to have a speedy recovery. Even though it is a hospital, our treatment was more like we were staying in a hotel. Thank you Marienklinik and the trauma team!
