They had a pastrami sandwich on there. If you know me... you KNOW I LOVES me a good pastrami sandwich. So of course I decided to try it out. The location is in a strip mall/shopping center, where there is a lot of parking. I was able to park right up front. Upon walking in, I was instantly greeted. The young man gave me a few minutes to review the menu, but I was looking for something to go with the sandwich I already had in mind lol. I asked what he would recommend, and he stated the Samosas.... Chicken or Vegetable. In addition to my pastrami sandwich, I ordered the chicken samosas. I was able to sit down and wait for my food as they were preparing it. The restaurant reminded me of a pizza shop, but it smelled so much different. The young man also let me know that the bread for the sandwich is freshly baked, so you know my mouth was watering and ready for this sandwich lol. My food was extremely fresh and he made sure I was satisfied with how it looked before bagging it up for me. Of course I took my pictures before leaving because I had to drive like 15mins home. Anyways.... On the car ride home, I decided to eat one of the chicken samosas..... OH MY LORD!!! It was sooooooo good. I should've asked him if it was spicy before ordering because I don't like spicy food, however it was still good. Too spicy for me, but really good. When I got home I washed my hands and dove into my sandwich. Let me tellllll you. That bread though??? It was freaking amazing!!! There was just enough pastrami in the sandwich with the right amount of cheese. This sandwich was perfect. It was so filling that I could only eat half of it. He told his board of advisors his vision. The advisors told him all the potential issues with his vision. Truett practically said "I hear your concerns... now go build me my Luau." This place is so much fun! Them atmosphere is just so different... you wouldn't even know it's a Chick-fil-A. It's got Dine-In options with servers and a special Hawaiian themed menu, there are carry options with some of their favorite Luau menu items, and there is a play area with outdoor seating and waterfalls. My party enjoyed sharing the specialty frosted beverages and milkshakes that are only offered here. We got the Frosted Hawaiian and the Pineapple Nut Milkshake. I especially loved the crunchy bits in the milkshake! The Luau Burger was a highlight- an absolutely amazing burger! I did ask the server for the other specialty sauces for thenlocation to try out, but they never came back after the food was delivered. Even after our meal we had been waiting for about 20 minutes before finding another server to check out with. Overall, I'm glad I went and experienced it, especially for the fun theme and the milkshake. However, with the service issues and the drive, it wouldn't be worth going out of my way to visit a second time.
