Villa-Waldeck was where I stayed the first time I visited Eppingen. It is a fair walk from the city…read morecentre and the train station, so if you have a lot of luggage or don't know your way around, you should probably take a taxi. The nice thing is that it is in a very pretty location out in the countryside. In the warm seasons of the year, there is a lot to do outdoors. They have a small petting zoo for the kids, plus an outdoor swimming area. Right nearby there is a soccer field and also a nature area. You could go on a nice hike right from the hotel! As for the rooms, mine was comfortable. A nice breakfast was included with my room. I also ate in the restaurant several times, and I thought the food was very good and reasonably priced. In fact, the group I was with came back here for dinner another time when I was staying at another hotel, and everyone liked it.
