It's hard to be upset with a Walmart that tolerates overnight parking. This one, according to…read morervparky.com, does. So after carefully checking the lot for signs prohibiting overnight parking, we found a spot and went inside. We shopped for a few snacks and found everything to be in good condition. No problem with the "lunch meats" area and the candy. Everything well stocked. After paying for our stuff at the self-checkout (no staffed check out lanes this evening), we returned to the campervan. I moved into a corner of the lot where it would be a bit quieter. After locking up and settling in, we had a peaceful night and were not disturbed. I'm very pleased with our experience at this Walmart. Thanks! [Review 552 of 2025 - 139 in West Virginia - 24113 overall]

Being blatantly targeted isn't ever a good thing, but if you're into that, head on over to this…read moreplace. Id rather shop elsewhere, but walmart happens to be the best place to get TP, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. However, after tonight, I have no issues traveling & taking my business elsewhere. Whoever the older female is, working the self-checkout area, she should be ashamed to have acted the way she did. Do NOT come to me after I call you out for staring at me as if you're conducting a urinalysis, talking about, "I have to bc of some guy". I'm not "some guy", lady. There were how many other people around, yet you targeted the person who actually checked out mad close to where cashiers stand? What a joke! If I were going to steal, I would've tucked myself away in the corner AWAY from everyone else. I spent 200 bucks of my hard earned cash tonight, only to be treated like I had done something wrong. If you see this, lady, you ma'am, are SHAMEFUL.

I came here when my family was here and buying food for me to survive the apocalypse (my mom was…read moreworried that I'd starve once they left), so I got some canned fruit and spices. I was trying to not spend any money on food-related items until after I ate everything at home (which, honestly, may take until January), but my super awesome neighbor bought me an at-home salad kit the other day so that I could grow my own vegetables. This is a somewhat foreign concept to me because I've lived in northern California suburbs for almost all my life (one year was in a city in New Jersey, but anyway). Growing my own veggies? No wais. :O I have somewhat of a black thumb, if you will. Technically, I'd like to believe it wasn't my fault, but my one and only tomato plant that I tried to grow in my backyard was completely savaged by a raccoon. (RIP, Apollo. :'( ) My cousin bought me a bamboo plant for my apartment since she said it's good to have something alive and green in your living space, so there's that. (Its name is Apollo 2.) My neighbor assures me that bamboo is very hard to kill, so it should be fine. But I digress. The home salad kits are on super-sale right now, so he actually got it for 60 cents. Yes. 60 cents. Since I didn't have class this morning, I made a beeline for the store (thank goodness it was open at 8 a.m. :O ) and left with another salad kit, 2 tomato kits, 2 basil kits (they were out of herb kits, but oh well :[ ), cumin, a sea salt grinder, a DVD, and a loofah for under $10. The staff was also super nice. :D I will likely be back, especially if I hear of such awesome deals again. *-* [edit] They sell 4 oz bags of Maple Nut Goodies, which I've gotten addicted to because my neighbor gave me some a couple weeks ago, for $1! Much cheaper than the $2.25 slightly-bigger-bags-of-them at Walmart!

I found some books for the hotel room for $1, read 'em and leave 'em at that price! Also found some cute holiday decorations for my Aunt's hospital room, again cheap enough to be disposable but surprisingly cute. Nice selection of stuff you don't need and nice staff.
