I like that I can run in, grab what I want (including a few things that I haven't seen at the chain grocery stores in town), and be out in 5 minutes. Grab your alcohol when you leave church and before evening services to prevent violence.

I didn't realize there were 2 stores in that location- Harrisburg Illinois However I believe the…read moreone that I visited was on Main Street. The place Was nasty. There was dirt piled up along the walls and baseboards. Actual litter was found throughout the store. Floor was in bad need of a good mopping. It was just disgusting. In fact there were several items we could have went back 4 but we both decided we didn't wanna be in that store again. It was a filthy excuse for a Dollar General. What made it even worse was that there was 3 staff members working on Saturday afternoon and none of them were cleaning. They were all chit chatting and doing nothing. I was pretty much ignored until they had to tell me my total and give me my receipt. I sure hope that this location gets cleaned up because it is a nice spot for tourists. It makes me thankful for my Dollar General back home. * I realized later that the location I went to was on commercial street. I apologize to the dollar general on main.
