The drive-thru is a complete joke. I will never use it again. There were 4 cars in line, I waited 30 min. That's not an exaggeration. I got into line at 8:50 am, and exited the line, after receiving my 1 donunt and donuts holes at 9:20. In the time that I sat there, unable to exit, 2 employees came out and moved/checked on some signage. Neither of them said anything about the wait, apologies, nothing. I will say that I'm writing this review because it is not the first time this has happened. The last time I was there, I had some extra time, but still noticed that the drive-thru had taken us 15 min to get through. More than that the time before that. It isn't because its packed- I want to be clear about that. I would never ding a place for being busy- that's a great thing for a business. For the life of me I can't explain to you why this encounter took 30 min. Lots of high volume orders? PUT THEM IN A DIFFERENT LINE. Broken machine? HAVE SOMEONE COME OUT AND SAY SOMETHING. Been here multiple times and have always had a great experience. This last time was on Free Donut day and the line was long but the wait was worth it. The store is always clean and the donuts excellent and service good. Wish we had a Krispy Kreme in Salem. read more

Average Krispy Kreme location. Their doughnuts taste the same at every Krispy location I've ever been to, so there is not much to review, in regards to this particular location. The parking is strange, and its hard to get out of there, if you're trying to get back onto 26. And personally, to get any true Krispy Kreme experience, one must not drive thru -- as everyone should be forced to enter the store themselves -- to pick out their assorted dozen. read more

I remember years before we had any in Portland, a client of mine would bring we boxes of glazed donuts back from her business trips to Seattle. Man they were good! Went this morning and got a dozen of mixed and most were really good. Yum! read more

I'm usually not a huge fan doughnuts. Today I tried a pumpkin spice doughnut of your and was shocked by how tasty it was. The only thing I didn't care for on it was the extra thick layer of glaze that made it a lil too sweet. read more

I like to go through the drive through for frozen yogurt and an occasional icy drink but rarely donuts. Inside is interesting to view the selection. Lots of seating and easy parking. The plain glazed, when warm, remind me of cotton candy. They melt in my mouth and leave me feeling like I am empty and could eat more. Not so much because of the flavor but a melty sugar rush. Can't believe they have no chocolate cake, chocolate icing combination. If they did how could it be a success when nothing else there is memorable. Interesting flavors but they look and sound better than they are satisfying. Parking is easy and free. Watching the donuts be made through the glass window is a fun experience. The number one donut shop in Portland area is nearby 183rd and TV Highway, Every Day Is A Donut Day. My favorite there is a "Susan" (never on the shelf, but a custom donut). Lots of yummy choices but if you like chocolate, everyone loves their double chocolate. read more

Ordered 18 donuts but when I got to the office and opened box there were only 16. Checked my receipt and charged for 18. Ordered a mocha and received a latte. Called and said something when I noticed the error - no apology - just "oh, that happens all the time!" Hmmm - If it happens all the time - shouldn't something be corrected? Too many other good donuts around town - will not go to this place to provide treats for the office. read more

Regular 30 minute or longer wait times in the drive thru. Their "computers are down" excuse works the first few times. They're just generally incompetent. The boxes are prepackaged and grease soaks the bottom and will get anything under it soaked in grease too. read more

Any place there is a Krispy Kreme Donut there is happiness. Their donuts are one of a kind and better than any I've ever had. A hot off the rollers original glaze is almost unbeatable. However, the Glazed Kreme Filled is the best donut ever. The Kreme cannot really be explained and only experienced. It is not custard(yuck), or whip cream either. It is almost like a cream with the flavor of the glaze itself. Words don;t properly describe this exquisite treat. I have to drive 3 hours to Portland. When we do I almost always leave with dozens of Krispy Kreme's. On top of that I hardly eat donuts anywhere else, ever. Krispy Kreme has ruined me for almost everywhere else. Did They change their recipe? I got a some 2 months ago and they were not what I was expecting. They were hard and dry and did not taste good at all. I was bummed! I went back yesterday and tried again. Same location Clakamas I told Linda about my last experience and told her I'd like to try one before I leave. So I ordered my donuts then she let me try one before I paid. Grrrrr!!! They were the same!!! Dry and hard!!! The same as the last time. Linda told me that they were just made. I decided I'd just get them anyway. She ended up comping me the box of donuts. Wow what great customer service. Customer service is a huge thing for me so Gold Star for Linda! The manager Sophia was very unhelpful and rude. The nice young lady working the counter was doing a great job trying to help me use my rewards points towards a coffee cake and was having trouble figuring out how to do it. (normally they can only be used towards the standard doughnuts) since I purchase 3-6 coffee cakes every day, most employees and managers don't see the harm in letting me use points once in a while. But today Sophia decided she wasn't going to accept my "Loyalty" points that I earned spending a fortune at their Resteraunt and flat out refused to do it even though I have got to be one of their most frequent customers. This kind of service from a manager is unacceptable, I worked in customer service for years and every good manager knows that it's very stupid to loose a daily customer over a $1.85 doughnut! I'm sure Sophia will regret her decision once she sees her monthly report and realizes that they are loosing hundreds of dollars a month in coffee cake sales compared to the previous month. I stopped there last Saturday and purchased a dozen various donuts at 9:00 am in the morning. Donuts were ridiculously stale and dry. I'm not sure what time they are made but these donuts should have been in the trash. I have a strong suspicion they were made the previous day. I did notice that she took them from a lower tray instead of the top tray which tells me that she knew they were old. We ate 4 out of the 12 and threw the rest away. I would have returned the rest but live too far away and I didn't want to make the effort. For $12.99 these donuts should never have been sold. I called later on and asked to speak to the manager to complain and was told that she was "too busy to talk to me". Really? If the KK owner reads this post, you may want to consider re-training your staff and maybe inform them that, even if that were the case, you NEVER say that to a costumer. I left my name and phone number and was told she would call me back.....of course she never did. If I could leave a 0 star rating I would....obviously we will never return to this business.
