Classic Margarita

I was in the area and saw this place and had to try it. I'm from Texas so I love tacos. I had the traditional beef tacos with a side of queso and classic margarita. Best margarita I've had in a long time and the tacos and queso were spot on! I'll definitely be back to try the burgers.

Grilled Hex Chicken Wrap

We tried this place because our Airbnb host recommended it. I ordered the grilled chicken hex wrap and the chicken was gross with pieces of dark meat. My fiancé ordered the brisket nachos which were lacking in meat. The elote wasn't bad though but small for $3.50. Portions were small for the nachos and brisket looked like steak.

Lunch time at my favorite Springfield spot! Today's Taco Choices: - San Antonio Style Barbacoa - Shrimp Verde - Slap Yo' Daddy My favorite this time was the Barbacoa! However, all of them were delicious. Super friendly staff! Great tacos! Fun atmosphere!

Food was so yummy! The owner and staff are very personable and friendly. They provided us an appetizer on the house since it was our first time in. We both loved our entree and even bought t-shirts. We'll be back.

Still WONDERFUL... Best, most original surprise in S'pfield. Get 'em before they're GONE and/or under new ownership!! Vale la pena!!

I will be raving about this place for weeks to come, the food is absolutely fantastic and the service is just like talking with a new friend so,inviting, for real check it out like the sooner the better, Highly recommend this sweet spot!!! The quiterbox kidd, lol.

Unfortunately, I believe I've been disappointed for the last time by this establishment. I've been a loyal patron of this location for years, through multiple ownership changes, but the new management has taken the restaurant in the wrong direction, and it hasn't improved. TL;DR: Consistently poor service, endless excuses, food is always late, and the menu has been gutted. This isn't the taco joint it once was. The tacos that remain are nowhere near the quality they were when Felix ran the place. Plus, there are extra charges for using a card and for takeout. They even expect you to tip while doing most of the work yourself. Now, if you care for the details... I've dined in twice and carried out twice, and each time has been lackluster. On my first visit, I brought three family members to try the new burgers. I don't mind pub-style ordering, but I was frustrated by having to place my own order, pay in advance, and then being charged an extra 3% for using a credit or debit card. To top it off, they asked for a tip before I even received my food. I tipped anyway, thinking we'd have some level of service. But I was wrong. Half of our order came out first, and we were called up to get the other half five minutes later. And yes, you have to stand in line to get your own refills. On my second visit, I was with my girlfriend and young niece. It was a similar experience, but this time I skipped the tip. Maybe that's why they seemed to forget my niece's order entirely, leaving us waiting an extra 15 minutes. You should never serve one person at the table and forget about the others. Our third visit was for takeout, right around the time they were promoting their app. I thought this would be perfect--why endure poor service when we live two blocks away? But now they charge extra for takeout on top of the 3% surcharge for non-cash payments. Our food wasn't ready on time and was cold by the time we got it. Worse, I had to wait 15 minutes in line just to pick it up because they didn't have separate lines for dine-in and takeout. The final straw came tonight. My girlfriend was craving their nachos and ordered them for my lunch break, well in advance for a 7:00 PM pickup. I have 30 minutes to get and eat my food, but at 7:15 PM, they still hadn't started the order. She ended up canceling it. While they were nice and credited us, it didn't matter. On a near 100-degree day, I was left eating chips from a vending machine because these new owners can't manage their business or employees. My last gripe is about the menu. They should stop calling themselves a taco place. They've gutted the great menu Felix built over the years and changed the recipes of what they kept. The tacos that remain are nowhere near the flavors they once had. The burgers and nachos are decent, I won't lie. But as good as they might be, they're not worth the terrible service and extra charges. I'm under no delusions this review will be taken seriously by the owners--when I complained about the delay with my niece's order, they listened but made no effort to correct it. The whole atmosphere reeks of laziness. I knew it would never be the same after the pandemic and when Father Time forced Felix out, but I held out hope that it would still be a decent place to visit from time to time but I was clearly mistaken.

My first several visits after the change of ownership have been nothing but great!!! I applaud the new owners and management for keeping the positive things that came from Guerras Krazy Taco but the additions of a super friendly staff and great cocktails are very welcome!! I've had the brisket nachos ...amazing flavors! The OMG Taco has been my favorite so far and tried the burger last week and it was ...if I lived closer I'd visit several times a week!

An absolutely must try restaurant. I drove 1:20 round trip and believe me, it was worth it! I was working with Steve S. , and elite Yelper, this morning and we always talk about restaurants we've tried. We are both from the Dayton area, and he told me that a group of his friends carpool to Guerra's Krazy Taco because the food, atmosphere, and bar were such a unique and satisfying experience. So I drove all the way to Springfield to try it. The nice lady behind the bar helped me navigate the menu. As you can see in the picture, I ordered 4 different tacos: Felix's Favorite, Cheeseburger Taco, Slap Yo' Daddy, and the Pork Taco. So far, I've only consumed two of them as they are quite filling so I'm saving the other two for tomorrow. You can tell from the picture that the variety of very fresh ingredients is extensive. The flavors just explode. Each one of my tacos was a very unique experience. I found my self slowing down to savor the experience. I travel all over the country as a volunteer medical courier. I seek out one-of-a-kind restaurants in my travels. Guerra's Krazy Taco is now at the top of my list... and it is so close!

Menu! Beef options can be made vegan by subbing impossible and removing cheese.

Some of the best tacos I've ever had! Nice sized and had unique items on them. The Austin's queso was also very good!

Really really good, and I had a great meal. Chile rellenos was my choice, and it was good, spicy,…read moreand it was amazingly good. It's a combination plate, and has rice and beans, and comes with two tortillas, corn or wheat. Mostly, this is a sort of gloppy dish. But the taste was stellar, the chilies were great, and it was impressive as the place was PACKED and there was a convention in town that overwhelms most restaurants. Service was good and professional. When I'm in Xenia, I'm going there, which might not be until May of 2024. If you're trying to make a decision, you will not be disappointed. Flavors and food prep were great, it was fresh, and I was frankly surprised and delighted-- and that doesn't happen very often.

There was an average number of guests at restaurant. Waiter seemed.......confused. No drink refills, no chips and salsa refills. Never returned to check if food was ok after he served it. Kitchen was very, very slow in preparing and sending out food. My chimichangas were burned. Granddaughter's chicken nuggets were so hard that she had trouble biting into them. We were celebrating a graduation with a party of 13 (been there plenty of times with a large party with zero problems). As such, I don't think that anyone in our party complained about anything (although keep in mind the waiter did not check back after service to make sure everything was ok) not wanting to dampen the celebration as well as just being ready to get out of there after such a miserable experience. Then we go to pay. A 'new'? very inept male was trying to ring people out. He ended up just kind of wandering away from the register. The foyer was packed. A very long line formed until a manager stepped up and replaced him. Again, we have never had an issue with Los Mariachi's before tonight. It is my daughter-in-law's favorite place. But, if this has been our first visit, we definitely would not return.

I thought El Speedy vaquero Mexican grill and bar was already about the best Mexican in town before…read morethe new owners, now it's even better. Lots of new stuff on the bigger menu, lots of birria choices (quesadillas/tacos, burritos, "pizza" and ramen). I got a new burrito from the new menu, but didn't shoot pictures of the menu itself and forget the name. Of course... But it had chicken, cheese, chorizo, lettuce and rice inside, a steak and a skewer of shrimp ontop, and mothered in cheese and salsa Verde(my fave)... It was ginormous, it was fantastic, and came on a platter the size of a boogie board. I struggled to cut it in half and have half left and a side of rice for tommorrow. Woot. 10/10 I got a tamale too, chicken not pork, the sauce was meh, I prefer a rich mole but the masa flavor and texture were great. 7/10, removed a point for chicken over pork and the sauce, decent but not the best I've had. But would get again! I'm liking the new direction under new owners, I'll be back! (And I'll shoot pics of the new menu!)

We got cheese dip (good), queso fundido (really good), and fajitas supremas (good)! I'd go back for sure. They were playing pop instrumental music and the vibe was upbeat in there.
