Our experience at this office was HORRIFIC. I made the mistake of trusting this man with my son's wisdom teeth removal surgery based on the reviews on HIS website, which was a huge mistake on my part. When my son was moved to the recovery room and I was brought in to get him, I broke down and cried at the site of him. Not only was he in agonizing pain, but his face was grotesquely swollen, his lips were cracked open and bleeding and he was shaking uncontrollably. The nurse that began giving us his after care instructions talked to me like I was a child, repeating herself over and over with common sense instructions that I did not need, especially since I had received them prior to surgery. The doctor came several minutes later with a prescription for pain meds, saying we needed to get food in my son with the pain meds asap! I was shocked to say the least! Sending a post op patient out the door in his condition with no pain meds to hold him over?! I couldn't believe we were expected to drive to a pharmacy and wait for his scripts to be filled in the condition that my son was in. Krause told me to tell the pharmacy staff that I had a patient in the car who needed his meds urgently and they would move him to the front of the line....what a joke! Every place I went said they do not ever do that, the Kroger pharmacy girl actually burst out laughing at me! To add to his misery, I went to 3 different pharmacies before I found one that could fill the pain meds because I was told they were written for an "unusually high dosage" that most pharmacies don't carry. This pharmacy fiasco took 2 hours, which meant my son was post op for three hours w/o pain medication. By the time he took it, it was way too late and he spent the next 24-36 hours "chasing" the pain with no relief. I called the office later in the afternoon to tell them he was hurting so badly, I needed advice about what to do to help him and they were so incredibly RUDE I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. I just hung up on her in frustration and was considering a trip to the ER when someone else from the office called me back and apologized for the rude girl's behavior. She advised doubling the dosage, which still didn't help. My son's face was literally disfigured for 2 1/2 weeks and he lost 30 lbs, which at 5'9" and 150 lbs prior to this nightmare, losing that amount of weight was not healthy at all. I also never heard of anyone getting their wisdom teeth removed and being prescribed steroids for two weeks on top of the antibiotics?! Krause knew he did a terrible job and had my son on the table way too long, hence the swelling, the bleeding lips and the excruciating sore throat he woke up with afterwards. I hope this review prevents everyone who reads it from going to this monster. He needs to have his license revoked for causing such pain and agony on my son. read more
