I've been meaning to write a review for quite a while now, so here it is! Long story short, I…read morealways knew I would get a breast augmentation after graduating college. I have a curvy, athletic body, however, my breasts never matched the rest of my figure, as they were pretty much nonexistent. I had my first consolation with Dr. Kearney in 2017, and I knew right away that he would be my doctor (I had gone to 4 other consultations before him!). The consolation was very numbers focused (in regards to measurements and size), straight forward, and no-bullshit. He was honest about which sizes looked best, which type of implant would suit my body better, and overall made me feel confident in his abilities as a surgeon due to his honesty and education. His staff is AMAZING and Dr Kearney himself is extremely honest, blunt, and straight forward, which was exactly what I needed. He has this unique sense of humor that makes you feel at ease and provides that bedside manner that all patients are looking for. I scheduled my surgery shortly after my consultation. Dr Kearney was on time, polite, and reassuring with me come surgery day, making me feel comfortable and confident in my decision with him. I had decided to get 325cc implants, which I was hesitant about as I had a gut feeling that I wanted to go bigger. Fast forward to six months after my surgery (everything went well and I was healing great), I decided that I did in fact was to be larger, so I called Dr Kearney's office and scheduled another consultation for second surgery. Dr. Kearney was great and very understanding with my decision. We scheduled another surgery soon after, and agreed on 450cc's. This surgery went amazing again, and I was SO happy with the final result. He did a phenomenal job both times and was so easy to love during the process. I appreciate his honesty, confidence, and ability to make his patients feel comfortable in their decision. My advice, choose Dr. Kearney for your breast augmentation! AND, go a bit bigger than you think. You won't regret.

I went in for a consultation last week and left feeling very uncomfortable. From the start, before…read morethe consultation even began, I was asked to take photos for a simulation without being properly asked or informed, which I declined. During the consultation, I clearly explained what I was looking for. He mentioned under-the-armpit incisions, which interested me, but then quickly insisted that I would need a lift. I explained that I was extremely uncomfortable with a lift due to scarring, but my concerns were dismissed. He spoke very fast, was insistent, and both my support person and I felt lost and talked over. He told me my nipples were "turned down," which I disagreed with, and made unsolicited comments such as women not wanting to "look like a boy," that "guys don't care about scars," and that "you either have scars or you don't have bigger boobs." These comments felt inappropriate and made me feel pressured and insecure rather than supported. Overall, I felt that he did not listen to my goals or respect my boundaries. I booked this consultation specifically because of his advertised experience with endoscopic transaxillary cases and made my preferences very clear, yet I felt pushed toward a procedure I did not want. I would not trust this doctor and would recommend finding a surgeon who truly listens and has experience in the specific approach you're looking for. Additionally after the consultation, I called the office again to clarify whether it would be possible to proceed with an under-the-armpit approach without a lift, since I am comfortable with my breast shape and simply want more volume. He responded that I would "have the same breasts, just bigger," and that I would still have "the same problem." I explained that I do not see my breasts as a problem and that I like them as they are. He then told me that I should find a different doctor.

The UCSD Health Systems campus in La Jolla is massive. If you've never been, give yourself some…read moreextra time to find where you're going. It was my first time there. I had an appointment at the Shiley Eye Institue. It was July of 2025 and there was a lot of construction going on at the campus which made it even more difficult to navigate. I found a parking structure and parked, only to find out that there is no validation and it was $7 for three hours. I was put off a bit. Health care is damned expensive, now you're going to gouge me for an additional seven bucks? C'mon! On top of that, I was constantly checking the time, hoping that three hours was enough. (It was, I was back in my car with 17 minutes to spare). I wandered around a bit before I finally found where I was going. The sprawling campus has some signage, but a "You are here" directory like malls have would be really helpful. After my appointment at Shiley, I had to go to the lab. Even after getting directions, it took me a few minutes of wandering around before I found it.

To the many doctors and nurses for the many that work at this location the many times that I have come the many faces of the interns and the ones just coming out after long hours some of the best doctors and nurses there are many that are working their way up the ladder. I just had a procedure that took place on Monday that was needed to replace a specialized battery which over many years from the wear and tear it had run down. From the condition I have I go through epileptic seizures which had been a great medical and disabling condition with the VNS Implant that I was given and had Implanted. When you have surgery, you can go at so many hours from the late in the afternoon to the early hours and the early morning hours from the early 500am. For many of you never had to get up at 5:00am for many of you that is the earliest only construction people that get up at the time to get ready for work. With many surgeries you can't have blood thinners or have vitamins before you have surgery one thing that I take daily was aspirin to help prevent heart attacks. On the early morning hours, I had a ride pick me up at my house yes, the mornings can be cold for some and for others it's one of the best wake ups in the morning to have a surgical process the results go different ways. When I had arrived at the Hospital it was about 5:00am in the morning there was a few people that were waiting at the desk having to check in at the desk when you come to the UCSD Medical Center in La Jolla I was greeted by the surgical staff was checked in at the desk and had to check with the main desk. The main lobby of the UCSD Hospital is one that is of the best in design and the hospital can be one that has designer furniture and the large windows that give you the wide looks of the main campus and the many surgical centers that are close by. it long When I was taken to the second floor where I was directed where the surgical center and the many people that were waiting for the appointment times. When you come to the surgical center you don't have to wat long they take right in where they can get you ready. UCSD Medical Surgical center is one of the largest when you come to the second the staff they ask if you if have eaten anything that is nothing after 1200am and nothing to drink. The type of surgery you have are greeted by the doctors and the surgery nurses they take your vitals and get you ready to have the IV procedure readied for surgery. To the great staff at the surgical floor that has helped me get through the long surgical process when they take you to surgery you may be given a prep injection the surgical centers, they have been some of the best with many of them can be very cold. The treatment that I had received was the best from the surgical nurses they stayed with me through the prep process and when they brought me back to the recovery room. For many people that have had surgery there is so much you go through and the support that you get from the caring staff I want to say thank you for your support and your life saving help which helped me get through one of the most important surgeries. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer this has been one of the greatest experiences and the many nurses and surgical staff which came and saw me there was one thing, I saw so much care and support for when you have people that monitored your sleep asked to have you started walking. The main thing that I can say is that the UCSD is one center as part of the Hospital is one of the best surgical departments very welcoming.

After the trauma, I had a big black triangle near my front teeth and incisors. Every periodontist from Dr. Pasquinelli in SF to a famous one in NYC said it's impossible to fix the papilla. It's one of the hardest thing to do as a periodontist. Then I found Dr. Nordland's website and flew in for a consultation. He said he could do it. I was skeptical at first. Some of the reviews were daunting and made me doubt Dr. Nordland. I went on my gut and did the surgery. Right after the surgery, it looked like it worked, but it slowly started retracting. I was so angry that I even wrote an email saying how dissatisfied I was with the surgery after 3 months. Little did I know the healing is a 2 yr process. After 2 yrs, my dentist said my gums looks really good and it's amazing what the surgery did. What Dr. Norland did was place a graft and over time that graft will grow towards the teeth. I'm here to apologize to Dr. Nordland and hoping this review will help others find him. The office and staff are awesome!

I used to be super fearful of the dentist because of trauma from when I was a child; I wouldn't even be able to sit still while getting my teeth cleaned because I would be so nervous of anything even touching my teeth! The office is stunning and the staff is awesome. I recently got my cleaning done by Mandy and she did such a great job. My teeth feel so nice and clean and it didn't hurt at all. I had stains on my teeth from drinking so much green tea and matcha and she was able to remove all the stains without having to do any bleaching. I'm still in awe of how white and stain-free my teeth are. She did this quick and painless procedure called "sand-blasting" to help get rid of the stains. Her assistant Jessica was really nice and gentle as well. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a new dental home!

From the moment you walk in, Amy and Shelby at the front desk make everything so easy and welcoming -- whether it's scheduling appointments or navigating payments, they're always so friendly and helpful. My very first visit here was such a game changer. They make you feel completely comfortable with blankets, iPads, and even letting me watch my favorite reality TV shows while getting work done -- something I never thought I'd actually look forward to at the dentist! The amazing team of Bre, Cat, Alejandra, and Chica has kept my teeth healthy, straight, and sparkling clean. They also helped me through clear aligners, fixing teeth that had shifted since braces, and I couldn't be happier with the results. All of this is under the guidance and expertise of my Dentist, Dr. Aramoon, who is lovely. She has transformed my smile in and has given me so much confidence. So far, I've had aligners, cleanings (both regular and deep), and bonding done here -- and in the future I'm even considering veneers with them because I know I'd be in the best hands. This office has completely changed how I feel about dental care. If you want a place where you'll actually enjoy going to the dentist, this is it!

The care of the patient I was visiting seemed friendly and caring, tending to her pain level needs sensitively. She did have one nurse that she thought was insensitive to her needs and talked to her in a condescending tone. The amount of miscommunication we experienced during our stay was outstanding. I came into the hospital 2 days early to have my care coordinated due to a high risk pregnancy and we didn't see any specialists during that time despite asking/reminding nurses and doctors . We didn't speak with anyone about the delivery "game plan" until the morning of so it felt like my extra two day stay was completely unnecessary. Additionally, I experienced a post delivery emergency and was sent down to get an MRI and CT without a gown and with medical patches on and that seemed to greatly irritate the MRI tech. Whenever I had a question I was directed to a specialist (obgyn, neurologist, anesthesiologist, etc.) that would then direct me back to the person I originally asked the question to. And my final complaint is that all the lactation consultants gave me conflicting information. Overall my stay felt sloppy and uncoordinated. I didn't feel very confident about the care received and the billing that followed was equally as disorganized. In comparison to an earlier stay I had a sharp memorial, the experience was night and day. I would avoid UCSD if at all possible moving forward. Sharp care was very organized and much more professional.
