    Spicy Pork BBQ ($9.99)
    Abbe W.

My daughter was taking coding with Code Ninja for the summer camp so after I picked her up, we decided to check the surrounding for food. We went to Zion Market's food court. My daughter is extremely picky in a way she doesn't want too much sauce or sauce touching her food. So, I was surprised that she wanted to try the teriyaki chicken but she just wants chicken and rice. The owners (husband and wife presumably) were packing for a very large takeout order. The husband, the cook, took my order and I was very specific about just chicken and rice only, everything else on the side. He even asked me if green onions were OK. I told him on the side, only chicken and rice. He made it just as I described and my daughter loved it. She ate half of it and we took the other half to go. My daughter was happy and I'm happy too. He came out later to check on us to make sure we were OK and also gave my daughter a gummy snack! My lunch was spicy pork BBQ. Very yummy. Nice heat and very good over rice. I'm now motivated to try other dishes!

The food was great with a lot of seafood and the portion was definitely big. I would say for two people. Over all great

Located in Zion market, K-pop sushi is our goto whenever we are grocery shopping! K-pop sushi offers a variety of sushi rolls and hot foods. We have yet to try the hot foods but have tried several of their sushi rolls! They sometimes have a special where you buy one roll and get the second roll for 50% off! They usually put out a sign or I always ask if the special is offered. Some of our favorites here are the baked salmon roll, spider roll, shrimp tempura crunch roll, and California roll. The sushi is fairly priced and most of the time made to order. They may have some rolls already made placed in the fridge for you to choose from! A good place for some affordable sushi. I'd definitely recommend supporting and giving them a try! P.S. you can phone in your order, find them on postmates or ubereats. Sometimes they even have special promotions on the apps!

If you're looking for something quick, affordable, and delicious, K Pop Sushi is a great choice! It's also located in Zion Market if you want to get banchan such as kimchi or cucumber. There's also another location inside Wholesome Choice Market. Each time I visit, the cashier is always super sweet! I actually get the Korean food rather than the sushi. I highly recommend the Spicy Seafood noodle (I've gotten it twice!). It comes with a good amount of shrimp, clams, squid, and pork. I also really enjoyed the grilled vegetables and texture of the noodle. The squid udon was also delicious! My friends and I had to pass on the black bean noodle and sweet and sour pork. The "crunchy" pork was difficult to chew and the sauce was ok. Other than that, I'd definitely come back again to try different dishes.

Okay, restaurant name aside, this is a place I'll definitely be coming back to. Located inside Zion Mart, it's right across from the jjajangmyeon place. There's enough seating where you can order from either place to sit down and eat, but it can get pretty crowded. After browsing the mart for a long time while deciding what to eat for dinner, I settled on getting the hwae-deop-bap (raw fish with veggies and rice mixed altogether with gochujang and sesame oil) here for to-go. The ahjusshi working here (I presume he's the owner because he was the only one working there at that time) kindly told me my food will be ready in about 10-15 minutes. During that time, I was preoccupied with browsing all the side dishes in the refrigerated section, and the next thing I knew, he brought out my order. I got back home and ended up eating more than half of the food (I was stuffed, but the food was so good). The raw fish tasted fresh, there was more than enough sauce, and I think I got my weekly intake of veggies in one night. Rice cooked just right, and I loved the side of miso soup. After storing the leftovers in the fridge, I ate the remaining ~1/3 for lunch the next day. Still tasted as good. Value food worth 2 meals, was only around $11. Highly recommend!!

This was my first time trying sushi from this place. I was worried the recent stay home orders were going to keep me from writing reviews, but I realized we could get food delivered for free. The food was pretty decent for the price. I had a standard rainbow roll, which was $8. I didn't think the raw fish tasted too fresh, but I didn't really expect much out of a delivery. It still satisfied my sushi craving though! My husband had the shrimp tempura crunch roll ($9?) and he liked it, but the rice was a little soggy. Overall, we were fine with it because we didn't expect it to be top grade sushi, but good enough to fill our cravings!

Nice & friendly people. Clean & tasty food. I really got chills eating their cold soba noodle (Korean cold noodle "nang myun" style with soba). Icy cold broth - little spicy, little sour, & little sweet! Soba was cooked perfectly. Would be great thing for a HOT day~ Hubs ordered their seafood noodle. Big giant serving of spicy seafood base soup with noodles~ good heat and smoky flavors that he enjoyed very much. Even said that it is the best champong noodle in Irvine~ Portions are very generous. Offers combo specials and has a large menu. Great place for a quick meal!

Roll fillings were fine, but the rice was grotesque. Wet to the point of soggy and mushy. Just gross.

You can tell this place has a strong base of regulars too, I saw a mix of friend groups and families casually walking in like it's their go-to spot. We ordered the cold noodles combo with jokbal (pork hock) for $30.95. Portion wise, it's SOLID for two people. The cold noodles were refreshing and really hit the spot, especially if you like that clean, slightly tangy flavor. The jokbal was very decent. Not bad, but if you've had it in Korea, you'll notice it doesn't quite hit the same level still totally "usable," just not standout. Value, this is where they win. We got full off just one combo, which is rare these days. Plus, all the usual Korean side dishes are complimentary, and they also served a warm bone broth at no extra cost. I've honestly never had that offered like this before, and it made the whole meal feel extra comforting and homey. Small detail, but I also appreciated that the table was already fully set up with bowls, utensils, and water which makes everything efficient. Overall, really solid experience. It actually gave me a bit of that Seoul nostalgia, which is hard to replicate. Definitely coming back to try more dishes.

My naengmyun came out shortly after the banchan, and I was so surprised by how big the portion was! It had a good amount of meat and cucumber too. It was so much that I was able to take home half. I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes out!

Best decision of my late night misadventures in a long time! It was very filling (you could probably order one item and split it or have plenty of food for leftovers the next day), it's not inexpensive but it's great value (but then again $20 for a meal out is kind of going rate standard so maybe it is inexpensive or comparable to most anything else you could choose?), and it's great quality. The soup is a combo meal that comes with rice, glass noodles, fish cakes in sauce, and kimchi. You can also modify the spice level to make it more mild or spicy depending on your preference. I don't know why I am so obsessed with the soup but I'm going to think about it for a while because I was 100% lost in the sauce while eating it - after you get halfway you can put the rice, part of the kimchi, and (maybe) the fish cakes in the soup so it gets closer to porridge and break up some of the blood sausage to mix it throughout. Service is friendly and can recommend different things to eat. I got my order as takeout but the dining atmosphere is really good for how close each table is to one another. Everyone still has enough space to be on their own but because you're closer together it kind of feels communal.

However, a few years ago, the restaurant changed ownership, and things have gone downhill since then. Prices have increased, the taste is different, and most importantly, the service is no longer good. Because of that, we stopped going there for at least two years. The other day, I took my father there again just to see if anything had improved, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. The service was still really bad. We ordered one of the specials from the menu, and nobody informed us that ordering the special meant it would not include the usual side dishes. This was very poor communication on their part. They should clearly mention that in the menu before customers order. Instead, after we ordered, they told us that the side dishes were not included. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, especially compared to how good this place used to be.
