Oasis Event Center of Morrow Georgia I just wanted to do a…read morereview about Oasis Event Center of Morrow Georgia to let everyone know they are truly an "Oasis" in the sandstorm of Atlanta event centers! I have to say I have drove by this place at least a hundred times and wondered... "What goes on in there?" Will now I know! They are making dreams come true in there! On October 14th my daughter got married and had her reception at the Oasis Event Center. It was such a pleasure working with the team at Oasis and the pricing was fair and reasonable. They had no problem answering my many, many, many questions. They also took the time to explain what I was getting for my money. This was not a small get-together, we invited 300+ and Oasis was able to make it look easy! The place is huge. They have a gigantic stage, dance floor and bar area. They also provide tables and chairs, and they will decorate with the colors of your choice. In other words, they can do it all! For my daughter's reception, they did an outstanding job! If you are planning a big event, (reception, anniversary, major birthday number) ask for Joel! Side note... English is not their strong language, but I had no issues communicating what needed to be done for the occasion. Love this place and will not hesitate to use it again in the future!

No street parking at all It used to be called Stockbridge Amphitheater just in case you hear ppl still referring to it by that name. This is a really nice medium sized venue. They do offer various types of seating reserved General Admission, Hightop tables, Box sections, VIP Seating which is the closest to the stage with tables. The venue does a security search through metal detectors, be mindful of policy on bag sizes, cooler sizes & allowed vs unallowed items. Dont be the person to have throw something out or walk back to your car. This is a heads up. The venue also allow you to bring coolers with food & drinks. They do have vendors who will be selling food, sometimes they have food trucks as well. In addition they have bar that serves alcoholic beverages. Overall, its a nice venue, with a nice set up, the staff are friendly, if you are able go to the box office on certain days to purchase tix, it will save you on those high Ticketmaster fees as they do charge a very smaller fee. Be prepared for a small walk if you dont park in the limited free parking or pay the fee to park at the venue. Also, some business also offer fee parking in the area and that also is a walk. The sound system is good. I have seen several artist who come & walk through the audience as they perform. It is a rain or shine venue, however, if its thunderstorms or lightning they will stop the performances & see how to proceed. If they have to reschedule you will be able to use the same tix for the rescheduled date. I will keep going back to Stockbridge Amphitheater as it is well worth the price of tix, the distance which is 30-45 min from College Park Area which is next to the airport (just to give you an idea). And you can bring your own food, small cooler & drinks. I rate them 5

We went to Vystar Amphitheater in Stockbridge to see Trey Songz, and this was actually my first…read moreoutdoor concert, so I was excited for the whole experience. It was HOT, but I was there with my girls, the energy was good, and once the concert really got going we had a great time. The biggest downside was the rain situation. At one point we found some empty covered seats because it was raining and nobody was sitting there, so we stayed there for a while instead of getting soaked. Toward the end of the concert, a security guard singled us out and called police over to make us go back to our original seats in the rain. What made it frustrating was that the covered seats were completely empty, and even the officer seemed confused about why it was being made into such a big issue. That definitely put a weird little cloud over the night. Trey Songz also came out later than expected, which was a little annoying, especially after sitting outside in the heat waiting. But despite all of that, we still had FUN. The music, being outside under the night sky, and just having a girls' night made it worth it. I'd definitely come back for another concert, but I'd probably be a lot more prepared for the weather next time. Overall, fun venue and a really good night, but the security experience could've been handled way better.

I wish I could give this guy Rome zero stars. I booked from him as a last minute one week in…read moreadvance notice and paid the whole fee of $800. He stated that I can call him at anytime on his phone for any questions that I may have. Little did I know that once I gave him my money I would not hear from him until the morning of the event. I stated that his actions were unprofessional, he then goes to tell me that he had someone to that was willing to pay more but chose me...what nerve so you blaming me for not taking the money of someone who called after me. The night before the event I had to book with someone because of uncertainties. After asking for my money back he wanted to continue to ask how can we fix it. Then still refused to send me my money back. Sounded professional until he wasn't. We're in Atlanta where there are scammers everywhere and he is indeed on of them. I am currently seeking litigation. Never do business with this guy because he is a lone horse as he stated to me and has no one to back him up if he's on vacation for a week. He will definitely take you money and run with it.

It was in what I would expect to be the main room, which was very open, clean, and welcoming. There's a stage up front and the rest of the room is clear hardwood floors: perfect for a dance class but it'd work for a multitude of events. The entire center seems new, and I was definitely impressed by the grounds, complete with basketball courts and a soccer field. While Clarkston may have never been on my radar before this event, they're certainly lucky to have a community center like this one. #yelp365 24/365

I attended a Repast service here and the place is very spacious. I counted seats for at least 140 people and there is also space for a DJ and a Step and Repeat. There is also a wall mounted TV to stream a video should you choose to do so. I counted four unisex restrooms. The food was located on a long hallway but the hallway is pretty narrow. This Event Hall is not too far from Hwy 78 The ambiance was great with family and friends dancing and fellowshipping together. It was the location for me. Very convenient if you live in DeKalb County area off Memorial Drive.

Now the cons; **For an event space, it's an odd shape, long and narrow. ** The industrial heaters and rafters hanging 20 feet up cant be hidden easily. So if you are hoping to completely camouflage the interior, you'll have a tough time. **The walls are cinderblock and painted in a light color. This makes the drabness stand out. The owners should paint the entire interior black (or white). There are multiple colors going up the wall that make it look like a workshop or oil change place (which I think it was). ** The back has an overhead, garage style door that needs to be covered. ** Is there heat or air conditioning? When I was there, the front door was kept open, so I cant be sure. Make sure to ask when inquiring. ** NARROW!!! You enter into a small front room, then a narrow hallway, then a kitchen/bar area on the right, and stairs to the loft on your left. It makes the area very crowded.
