Most likely not. I was in that position two years ago when another driver traveling in the opposite direction fell asleep and hit me head on. I suffered a serious injury that required me to have surgery and I was unable to work for two months. I fortunately did well after surgery but it took at least one year before I was working 100%. I am self employed so it was a challenge physically and financially. I initially did not even consider seeking out a lawyer's assistance but my family and friends encouraged me to look into it. I was fortunate enough to get a recommendation from my family lawyer. He recommended the Michigan Auto Law Firm in Farmington Hills. Under the guidance of Mr. Lawrence Gursten I was assigned to his associate, Mr. Jeffrey Bussell who started the investigation. Both lawyers were very understanding and took the time to explain to me the process involved. They answered my questions initially and always called me back promptly if I had any further questions.
