They are good, but I've seen the reviews. The only thing i should worry about is when I get braces.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Here's why........I called the Plymouth location for a quote as I was…read morereferred by a patient that completed treatment there. When I called the "call center" stated that we do not do that because everyone is different. I've had ortho on before and been actively shopping about a month. Note: all of the quotes that I have from other ortho's do not detail what is different in the "pricing" to identify why there would be such variation of $1000-3000. In any event, they do not have that info without an appt. So I agreed to schedule the appt for 3/3 and completed the new patient paperwork as requested. This morning they called me and stated that they are going to cancel that appt as "it is not a good fit"! Lynn, the office manager, stated that the receptionist was uncomfortable with an uncomfortable conversation LOL! I suppose the receptionist is going to be the DOCTOR performing the treatment. I also suppose that if the receptionist cannot have an uncomfortable conversation with the general public that person is in the wrong ROLE.

I went in for a "free consult" only to be told that I had to submit a multi-page medical history…read morereport to be seen. They cited HIPAA though all HIPAA requires is that the practice informs the potential patient of their rights to privacy. My suggestion is to leave immediately, which I did, whenever any business requires your personal health information before you're even a customer!

We were referred to Camp Smiles after moving to Minnesota. Our initial interactions with the…read moredentists were fantastic. But as the kids got older, something shifted and I did not feel the dentists (or billing) cared about their patients. What pushed me to write this was that my daughter had a tooth that wouldn't come out. So we made an appointment to have it taken out. Our regular dentist wasn't available so we saw Dr. Bobbi. Dr. Bobbi was so disrespectful to my daughter who is 12 years old. Not only did she put down my daughter's feeling about wanting the tooth out (Dr. Bobbi told her to just wiggle it out, which she had been trying since Nov. and my daughter was sick of it and wanted it out), she also told her she shouldn't be allowed to brush her teeth by herself because she had plague near her gums on the side of her mouth where her loose tooth was. My daughter cried in the car after feeling like a baby because of how the Dr. spoke with her. We just recently got the bill and found out from the bill that Camp Smiles isn't in network for us anymore. When we went for the visit, they took our insurance card and didn't tell us that MetLife is out of network, after asking if our insurance is still in network. This just was upsetting because companies like Camp Smilies should know what insurance companies are in-network and if they had questions to check before the appointment, since I specifically asked. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Coming straight from your billing departments, you do not offer estimates as you don't have access to all insurance billing plans. Please don't share information that isn't accurate regarding billing. We also had issues with their billing when my son turned 12 years old. They billed our insurance as an adult. Our insurance wouldn't pay for his cleaning because he was 12 and wasn't covered as an adult. There was a lot of back and forth, which Camp Smiles said was in their policy to charge for a full adult cleaning for a 12 year old, but I was never sent that policy after asking multiple times. My recommendation is to find a different pediatric dentist. This one will just give you headaches with billing if you have children older than toddler. And do not see Dr. Bobbi. I don't feel like she should be a pediatric dentist with her "chair side" manner.

I accidentally went to the Plymouth location instead of the Maple Grove one and called as soon as I…read morerealized I'd be about 12 minutes late. The two locations are only about 12 minutes apart, and it's an easy mistake to make. Unfortunately, I was told there is a strict 10-minute grace period and that I would need to reschedule. I understand policies exist, but a little flexibility or understanding in situations like this would go a long way--especially when the locations are so close and confusion between them is probably pretty common. Just something to keep in mind for future customers.

Doesn't even deserve one star!! For a great smile, you need somebody who does not only only how to…read morestraighten teeth but also understand the aesthetic of a smile. This orthodontist DOES NOT have that skill. I had cross bite problem and was looking for a treatment to fix my bite. Dr D promised me that in a year, without tooth extraction, she would be able to fix my bite. The treatment lasted for 2.5 years and I was shocked when I saw the final results. Yes, the upper teeth overlap the bottom teeth but how she did it was by pushing the upper incisors forward, making them titled at 30 angle and slanting outwards t!! Now, not only the front four teeth are protruding and of course my smile looks weird as if I were doing thumb-sucking when I was young, which I didn't! There are two big gaps between the incisors and the eye teeth as well because she put my upper incisors at 30 degrees angle. That's the only thing she did in 2.5 years, fixing a problem by creating another problem. Now, I can't close my lips together and difficulty cutting my food because my incisors are slanting outward. I spent thousands of dollars, my time and my patience dealing with her, I don't want anybody out there to fall into the same footstep. And what made it worse is that my teeth were not slanting outwards before I wore braces. She refused to fix the problem by saying that she has done a lot in fixing my bite. Seriously, you don't want to spend any dime to get service from this IDIOT.

After having received braces here as an adult, my TMJ improved a bit but my Sleep Apnea worsened…read more This might now set me up for premature dementia unless I have braces again, as the CPAP and various masks do not seem able to compensate...hence my finally submitting this complaint. During the braces, I required a root canal and nearly another one; an endodontist across town insisted Dr Miller was moving my teeth too fast, which Dr Miller immediately denied. For the twenty years of previous adulthood, I had required only one other root canal, now two in a couple of years?? Oh, and I was fastidious with oral hygiene while I had the braces. In retrospect, wishing here I had done "Mewing" technique, based on a British Orthodontist father/son. You can copy and paste this into your address bar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Z_Fp9lGrGY&list=WL&index=2&t=1313s Dr Miller will likely respond to this with "There is NO scientific validity to Mewing technique."

The treatment was faster than expected and much quicker than all of our friends who went to other places, while still being extremely thorough in the process. Overall, an amazing experience from beginning to end with Dr. Miller.
