All a permit to charge the living heck out of you. Even the NAPA in this town is owned by CHS, and they are absolutely on the dust. "FUO", is what local call this place due to the celling high price tags on all the goods. Of course, they try to attempt to put on daily lunch specials but come off as average at best. The convenience store was clean, had plenty of snacks, drinks, fountain drinks and alcoholic beverages. They even have a warm food kiosk/ stand. I didn't look to see what they had in it, but I'm sure there's hot dogs and nachos. The gas station was modern with multiple pumping stations. Farmers seems to be a good stop. What more can I say? Oh! I picked up two packs of sunflowers seeds to keep us occupied on the 3 hour drive. The sunflower seeds were Giants brand, instead of the Frito-Lays I normally get. Sure enough, these seeds were certainly "giants"! This makes it easier to pop in your mouth and spit them out! LOL! The bacon ranch flavor was addictive! It wasn't saturated with salt as I thought- which was great! I didn't feel like I had to drink a liter of water after each serving! The BBQ flavor was a bit too flavorful for me, after eating the awesome bacon ranch! Well there you go! Pick up some Giants sunflower seeds when you stop at Farmers Union Oil! Cheers!

Of course, when you're on vacation and you're trying to get from point A to point B in a limited amount of time, car repairs can be brutal. When I randomly couldn't close my Saturn driver's door near the Rapid River in northern Minnesota, I found the nearest dealership: Waschke Family GM. I called and explained the problem, and they offered to take a look as soon as I could get there. I began mentally calculating where I could shave time and experiences from my travels while the gents at Waschke Family drove my car into the bay, dog and all. About fifteen minutes later when they drove it back out, dripping with a bit of WD-40, ready to keep heading forward to our next adventure, I was grateful for all the kind folks at Waschke. They saved my trip! No, of course not every car repair is this simple, but on this trip at this time in this place, I really needed a quick fix. I'm just lucky that I found this place on this day. Pompey and I thank you all!
