Ok, if you made it to this far out place in Germany, you have either seen everything else important…read morebefore or you are lost. Seriously, there is not much in this part of the country beside some old buildings and castles. This is a beautiful water castle build in 1550 and In 2007 converted with an attachment to a wellness four star Hotel. You will find 35 modern styled rooms combined with a renaissance castle. It really seems to be odd because you have the old style castle on one side and the high tech modern Hotel on the other side. It took me 1 second to turn on the lights, but than I needed 5 minutes to figure out how to turn it back off because from one light switch you can operate all lights in the room, the curtains, TV and the music in the bathroom. The shower and the thrown are hidden behind a green glass door, but don't worry you can not see through the glass. The rooms are very bright, the windows reach all the way from the ceiling to the floor. Since this is a German castle it also comes with an attached brewery, what do you expect? Their Helles and Dunkles Weissbier is very famous in the southern part of Germany, but unfortunately I did not have the chance to try it, well maybe next year when I am back here. The brewery is located in the former stables and it also comes with a beer garden which is open during the summer. They would not let me see the dungeon.

Lovely hotel located in the heart of Pilsen…read more We stayed here one night while in town and it was just perfect. Walking distance to the brewery, where we went for the tour. Walking distance to the main train station. Adjacent to the lovely downtown, location is perfect to enjoy this beautiful town of Pilsen. Staff was very friendly and they offered free breakfast even for a gold member. They also have a gym with a nice view on the 6th floor. Great value for the points stay. Highly recommend

Nice restaurant attached to the hotel (Pils n Grills), fitness center, wifi, comfortable rooms, good cable channel options with a few English speaking and comfortable bed, bathroom. Also has a iron and ironing board, not common in many German hotels recently traveled and needed during my travels here in Czech. Great hotel for business travel or vacation.

Two adults, two steaks, two sides, two drinks, I think it was about 60€? I had the Irish rump roast and it was amazing. I think in Germany, Irish beef is supposed to be the best? It was very delicious, well cooked (medium) and I had the most amazing asparagus. As with most European restaurants, it's best to get what is in season, and this is asparagus season! We will definitely go back, but for a special occasion. Also, they have seasonal weekend breakfast which sounds good from the menu but we have not tried it yet.
