The accompanying fries had a tangy seasoning on them that we all loved. One of us also got the stjerneskud, a kind of smørrebrød, because it had to be done once. Imagine a massive piece of bread covered in a bernaise kind of sauce and now it's topped with smoked salmon, a thousand tiny shrimp, a grilled AND steamed plaice (a kind of whitefish). The thing was insane, hence the aforementioned overordering. Service is nice enough. The bill was sky high, which is our main reservation about this place, but it's our own fault at the end of the day for letting our eyes be bigger than our stomachs. The 3 course menu tasted delicious, and also offered an excellent value proposition :-) The ambiance was warm, quiet, and charming; the service was totally on-point while being completely helpful and friendly. Everyone we encountered spoke excellent English, and made us feel more like guests than customers. My only regret is that we visited here on the last night of our stay in Arhus - I look forward to returning next trip!

The taste and visual of the courses was fantastic and I could not see anything they could have done different to make it better, so well done! The reason for not giving the 5/5 is the noise, not that it terrible but it would be the last bit better if it was less noise BUT I will differently recomend this place!!!
