Koneser gave a new life to the old, 19-century factory complex, where Polish vodka used to be made. Now the buildings are completely refurbished, with as much respect for the old architecture as it probably was possible. It's a multi-purpose space, designed to host concerts, artistic events and cook-outs. There are some permanent shops and restaurants, but the main attraction there is the Museum of Vodka, presenting this traditional Polish liquor in a modern and quite interesting way (including tastings). There's also a fancy Hotel Moxy and Campus Warsaw by Google.
Of course, some would say that Koneser is a way of pushing out local community of old Praga district to make space for new development and gentrification. It's partly true, as it has been built to make money, not as a non-profit venture. But it's also true, that without estate developers' money it would be the same ruin it was just a few years ago.
