The room was clean, however it's old and it use to be a smokers room so that stale smell is in the…read morecarpet and curtains. 1st problem was that the A/C didn't work for the first 3 days (we were here for 6 days), Once fixed it went from one extreme to the next it was stuck on the lowest setting possible. if you want something from the bar you literally have to go looking for someone to take your order and if there was someone in the bar they just didn't take your order you had to tell them you needed service. The majority of the staff wasn't friendly. The only person was decent to us was Andres. Do yourself a favor DO NOT STAY HERE!

Breakfasts was great, location was great, 10 min taxi to little Tokyo, the bed was comfy & the room rate was good. The only flaw was the shower set up, no shampoo & conditioner which was strange, no door, thus good amount of splash bounced off the wall during shower. In addition, the room smelled bad a day after using the shower which was really bothersome. I spent some time & tracked the source down to the invisible drain under the wooden shower floor。 I am pretty sure it's either the drain or the wet underside of the shower floor that bred bacteria which caused bad smell. There's no access, no easy way to fix it, I ended up flushing the drain using the shower, wasted a lot of water but the problem went away.

We only had a bit of trouble at dinner because the kitchen was terribly slow. Unforgivable, so I'm dropping a star. But hospitality standards were good, and the taste was exquisite. Hope they can fix kitchen processing soon.

The rooms are spacious with a good bed and pillows. The room was clean and comfortable. The building is clean and the breakfast is also ok. Over all value for money is quite ok. Wifi works reasonably well and is free. It's a place I picked based on the fact that most of the normal hotels we use were fully booked due to a trade fair happening at the Messe !! Staff are friendly and helpful and it's good value for money. I would happily come back here again.

Did not feel crowded * Breakfast was a good spread * Within a mile of the Dusseldorf HBF so is walkable * The staff was very friendly and helpful * Provide a transportation pass to use the public transportation services of the city for free * Right next to small park with a play ground Downsides: * Shower was a bit weird. It was a small wall that was connected to the tub. I didn't manage to correctly the first time I took a shower and managed to flood the bathroom floor quite a bit. Thankfully, I had enough towels. :-) * The near by park gets a bit sketch and dark after the sun goes down. Overall: Would definitely stay here again

Just enxt to the train station and 10min walk from the city center. Bathrooms would need a little modernisation but overall a very good place to stay in an otherwise usually overprized city !!

The outside courtyard area was a perfect setting for conversation and fun in the evening. Every detail was accounted for with blankets being provided in the outside area, lots of seating, games, fire pits, and perfect lighting. I will stay here anytime I find myself in this area.
