We came here for a Sunday night race when we were in town. We had driven by the place earlier in the weekend and I looked it up on their website, which was quite informative. There seem to be races almost every week. We arrived a few minutes late, but no worries as they were still doing the hot laps. Parking was easy in the gravel lot (PRO TIP: the closer you park to the track, the dirtier your car will be from all the dust). Paying by credit card adds a 5% fee. It was $15 per adult, but kids are free to enter. It wasn't too crowded, but general admission gets you in on the side with the sun in your eyes, so for the first hour, it was painful. But after that, it was amazing. Yes, dirt will be flying and it is loud! But it is so fascinating and we loved learning about the intricacies of the sport. I recommend sitting on the far right side so you can see the cars exiting the track. Concessions were reasonably priced and the same 5% credit card fee as the admission applies. The bathrooms are what you'd expect and the ground dirty. But they had a zamboni-like thing come around and clean the main walkway. There were fireworks afterwards that lasted longer than I thought they would. read more

We went to Kokomo Speedway for the first time for the sprint car smack down event on 8/23. We made the 1 1/2 hour drive from Ft Wayne and purchased our wristbands for general admission seating. It was very busy to say the least so all the seats that weren't reserved were already taken. We tried to find seats that weren't be used this night only to have to move 3-4 times. We went back to the ticket booth and explained the situation and the Very Helpful lady working the window ended up being one of the owners. She was so helpful and even drove us over to the other side of the track and took our number and text us a great pair of seats that were open. This was above and beyond customer service that she did not have to do but was VERY much appreciated. I will recommend Kokomo Speedway to everyone I know and share this story also. Fantastic sprint car racing. Great as a spectator and simultaneously terrifying and awesome when my son is in the field.

I'm not a huge dirt track racing fan, but I really do like this track! Fast racing, great emergency team, camping is absolutely wonderful, and the folks are great. Beer is reasonably priced and the food is basic track food. Very happy to have this track so close to home!! read more

Just ate the worst cheeseburger in my entire life. I'm old. I've eaten plenty of bad racetrack food. This was by far the worst. I watched one guy take a bite of one and throw it in the garbage. read more

This was our first time at the Kokomo Speedway and it was a blast! Beer was cheap, didn't partake in the food since we ate before but the chili cheese nachos looked delicious. The cars went really fast and turned to the left sometimes, which was kind of predictable. I wish they had turned right once or twice just to mix things up, but I know I'm being picky. Definitely looking forward to next time! read more
