So, I went to Kohl's to drop off a package I needed to return from Amazon. Yes, you read that correctly. Kohl's just partnered with Amazon to accept their returns. In fact, they will return, package, and ship the items back. You will have to take your item to the customer service desk in the back right of the store. Amazon sends you an email when you process your return and you have the option to print the information or have the Kohl's employee scan a barcode from your phone. I hadn't been in Kohl's in a while and store was organized beautifully and the employees were friendly and helpful. So, Kohl's will definitely benefit from the extra foot traffic. When the return transaction was complete. The employee gave me a Kohl's coupon for 25% off that expires within 7 days. Since I had to walk through the store to leave, I was tempted to purchase something. That's a good partnership. read more

OMG...it was a snow day yesterday and they allowed me to use their restroom. Acts like this, people take for granted. When one has a full bladder, it seems like you end up being at another's mercy. Edit: Always call this location and do not take the website at face value. I wanted to get a upright carpet cleaner. It states "not available at this location." Luckily, I contacted this location and they did have the product in store. I do not feel like I should be grading this store down for it, but sometimes locations may have to take it upon themselves to update the website. I went into the store to purchase a Sephora gift card for my daughter. I was in the Sephora section and I clearly stated I wanted a Sephora gift card. My purchase was put into a Sephora bag. The clerk never said anything about the gift card. I get home and I have a Kohls gift card. This is NOT what I asked for and they will not exchange it to the correct card. I love Kohl's! I used to hate coming here because the store just seemed to always be a disaster especially in the clearance isles which is my favorite spot to shop at first. But it's been getting better, and I love their customer service. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I always make sure to come out here for Black Friday because they have the best deals on everyday kitchen appliances like crockpots, griddles, blenders, etc. I also love their shoe selection, and clearance section the most, can always find something great if you dig around long enough. The Kohl's cash is a great perk to be had, and that's how they get my money. I want Kohl's cash back, so I'll definitely spend enough to get some. And then come back and spend some more. This Kohl's is located in the Hamburg area, which is an outdoor shopping mall of sorts. So if you want to knock out several stores at once but want to avoid the mall, Hamburg is your place. I usually buy my dress clothes here. The fitting room is pretty convenient. I like that they don't hassle you by counting the items as you go in, that's always so annoying when a place does that. My mom has a Kohl's credit card and they are always sending her a ton of coupons. Whenever I go, I check on their website to see if they have the scannable ecoupons and they usually do. This past weekend, the website had a 25% off coupon for in store and online purchases. Heck yeah! Then I received Kohl's cash which is $10 certificates for every $50 that I spend. The only thing that I hate about the Kohl's cash is that you only have a week long window to use them and I usually letting them expire. read more

I love this store. I use to hate it until I realized that I am too old for American eagle and express. now I love it. I suggest to get a kohls card because they always have great deals and sales going and you get kohls cash which is basically free money checks. returns are easy and there are a large variety of clothes and house stuff to choose from. their clearance shoes can't be beat. so stop in and shop if you are near. staff are super helpful and friendly as well. that is a huge perk. if you are a day or two past expiration of kohls cash....they still take it. thanks a lot guys read more

First time for me being in the Kohl's at Hamburg place it is larger than most very convenient to get to customer service a little above average friendly though and helpful they have a large selection of most of everything this is one of the better ones around in my opinion I do recommend stopping in and looking because their men's department is large as well as the women read more

One of my favorite people in the whole world just moved to Lexington to pursue his doctorate at the university, and arrived to an empty apartment. I found him a hookless mystery-window, fabric shower curtain with a removable liner online. When I called Kohl's and spoke with Tracy in Housewares, not only did she describe the features of the curtains in stock, but she found one in his favorite colors, of highest quality, with color-block panels - and it was on sale. Shopping on the Friday before Christmas is never fun. I had to come to Kohl's to make an exchange and was dreading it. The store was obviously full of customers yet the whole experience went smoothly. The clerks at the return desk were friendly and extraordinarily fast and efficient. Despite oodles of customers in the store the shelves and racks were orderly and well stocked. Even the check out lanes were running without a hitch. Just tried to by a suit. There were so many jackets and so many pants but very few that matched. We found some great jackets but then could not find one pair of pants to match for both vanhuesan or Hagar. No one came to help. Had one. Ice lady that was working call for someone to come help but after 20 minutes. No one. I hated to go somewhere else but have to. The staff is always friendly, helpful and always a lot of fun checking out at the registers. The store is clean, neat and well organized. I haven't bought clothing from another store in over a year. Service is horrible! The young lady that checked us out was very rude, even huffing, and acted like it was an inconvenience since she had to stop socializing and check us out. Then we spoke with someone at the customer service desk regarding the discounts/coupons and that one said 20% off and the other said take an additional 15% off in store and online. She very rudely explained that the store only honors one discount code per transaction. This is even though the online site/app honors up to 4 discounts at a time. Lesson learned. I will only shop at Kohl's (if I do so again) online and not waste my time walking through the store. I gave them one star because I had to rate them something otherwise I would not have rated them with even one star. The rudeness has not been experienced at other Kohl's stores just the one in Hamburg (Lex, KY). The attitude of the staff seems to be the norm at this particular store, as I have experienced several times there before, which is why I am leaving this review. read more

WORST STORE EVER!!!! I shopped there and bought $400 of Christmas gifts and left one tiny makeup product (under $15) in the bottom of my cart. Hard to see it when their carts are basically black trash bags with wheels. I paid, left the store, and their "security" guard ran out to my car, grabbed me by my arm and tried to prosecute me for shoplifting! I told him it was an accident and that I could pay for it and he tried calling the cops on me. Really? I had a bad experience at the Hamburg Kohls location. I am a good customer to Kohls and buy most of my 5 grandchildrens schools there. We don't have a Kohls in the town where I live so it is about an hour drive for me to shop there. I usually spend between 2 and 3 hundred dollars every trip to Kohls. This past weekend I was in Lexington to shop at Khols and had 60 dollars Kohls Cash. I asked the clerk before beginning my shopping if they would honor my Kohls Cash. She got the Manager, "Gary" and I was told that I had missed the eligable days by one day. The Manager was cold and indifferent, and didn't even look at me when he addressed the situation. I left the store without shopping. Just three weeks earlier the Bowling Greens store had allowed me to use my Kohls cash that was 2 weeks expired and I spent $346 that trip. We need a Kohls In Somerset , Ky then I wouldn't have to beg for my coupons. read more
