Never been there but after reading all the reviews, I won't bother driving there. JC Penny's is messy but not rude.

There is a special employee, I see every time I go into the store, that works very hard! She runs that store like a well oiled machine while keeping a smile on her face. She directs the employees, cashiers and is constantly on top of things. I honestly thought she was the store manager but found out she is the assistant store manager. Miss G is a great asset to the Kohl's company! She helped me when every one else was busy with other customers and was so kind and polite. She made me feel valued and not just like a bothersome customer. read more

Haven't been to this kohls in a while and I'm disappointed with how dirty it is. I took my daughter to the dressing room to try on some clothes and couldn't believe all the dust bunnies all over the place. It looked like it hadn't been swept in quite some time. Safe to say I won't be coming back to this location any more I'd rather travel to the cleaner one in a neighboring town. read more

The worst experience of all the times I shopped at kohls. One of the cashiers was rude & when she was ringing my purchase. She was talking on the speaker in her ear and not paying attention to me. I'm upset I didn't catch her name tag & she might not have been wearing one. I could feel the tension in the air when I walked in & if this woman is a manager I think someone should consider getting rid of her. She also made me make a payment twice the amount of my purchase because she said it should all be charged to my Kohl's credit card. What a horrible experience. slowness I can stand but not stupidity. I went to pick up an online order I waited an hour and a half for it to be ready and when I got their the cashier said he couldn't even find the order in their system. I told him I couldn't come back another day and I needed it now. All he could tell me was it wasn't ready. I told him to forget it that I would pick it my self and he said ok and let me go on a scavenger hunt thru their cluster fuck of a store and didn't even try to offer further assistance. I pulled the items brought them back to the customer service and said here are my items release them to me. The "manager" said that they couldn't do that that I would have to wait till it was ready. I told her I placed the order now almost 2 hours ago and you guys can't even find the order. She proceeded to get with the people in the back, didn't even ask for my name I had to hear another person scream my name into her mic piece. a few minutes-later she brings up my order packaged and ready to go. I want to start by saying I do not enjoy coming here. It is one of the only places around here we can find certain things. I feel like they are high priced even with all their sales and Kohls cash. Also they should spend some time cleaning up the store and customer service is definitely lacking. I had placed an order online for in store pick up and needed to add my brother to pick it up. The website kept giving me an error message and would not allow me to add his name so I called the store and they were absolutely awful! The first associate kept having to ask another one (Desiree) what to respond. Then, without even placing me on hold, she asked if she should just tell me there's nothing they can do and for me to just figure it out. I then asked for a manager (Megan) who said if it will not allow me to add him online then I should call online (who?) or cancel the order. I explained we can show them how its rejecting the update and provide all the order information/credit card information but she refused. I explained that customer service told us to contact the store and explain the situation and they should be understanding but she couldn't have been any more rude and disrespectful as a "manager". So we can't pick up the order without adding his name, and we cant add his name online due to their system failure, and no one knows any other way to do it, and cant assist us in picking up the order. I ended up calling customer service back to look further into the situation and look further into the store employees. There has to be a way to go around the store and their inexperienced employees. Ridiculous doesn't begin to describe it. read more

Went in to purchase a diamond wedding band that I had been eyeing online. I arrived at the Jewelry counter at 8:30pm only to find the displays half empty. The associate turned me away saying she was already closed. I didn't see anywhere online that the jewelry section closes before the rest of the store or I wouldn't have made the drive out there. I stood there confused for a couple minutes when another woman arrived and she was also turned away by the same associate who told her that she couldn't help her because she had already closed out her register. Guess Kohl's doesn't care about making big sales at the jewelry counter. Definitely will never be back here. read more

If I could give zero stars or negative I would they don't offer advertised pricing and there management can not figure out how to answer the questions of why. The only response was prices on line are different, when the question was why is every other item on sale but this one. Still no answer no attempt to answer my question. So I take it has either the person was not a manager and was playing manager, or the store takes pride in not following sale prices and likes and enjoys cheating there customers out of money. I took the time to go to La Verne and the item was on display with a sale tag, so for me if you like being cheated out of money, treated like you are an inconvenience and that you are stupid please feel free to shop at Glendora however I would take the extra drive and go to the La Verne store. NO WONDER KHOLS HAVE SHUT DOWN STORES with management like this. They lost a sale because they have no customer service. I will not go back to this store and recommend that no ones shops at the Glendora KHOLS they have no idea what customer service is and will be more than glad to not honor sale prices and state that this is corporate policy. Horrible service in-store and online. I made two online purchases and they messed up both. Now I have to wait 7 days to get my refund on a order they never delivered. They told me I can't get a refund until they receive the item back. I never received a item and its been 11 days now I have to wait another 7 days for a refund. They gave me 5.00 in points to use for what when I go in-store but wait everything is out of stock. We will not be back ever!!! All over 15.00 good jobs Kohl's you'll be the next one to go out of business. Target messed my order up and they refunded my money and still gave me the item for free I will be going back there and Amazon. read more

i like kohls like i like Target. casual clothes selections is not bad, but pretty average. i do love the dollars/cash back. i was able to complete my set of Fiesta ware and this is thanks to the cash back. i'm in the store once every couple of weeks. the sales are constant and sometimes so low, you have to wonder how high the markup really can be. great place to shop with potential to save so much money. Go during a sale and earn yourself some free dough! read more

Picked up a really nice Zoo York button here the other day. Not my favorite store but for a dept. store you can come acroos some really nice clothes and save some money at the same time. I love the glendora kohl's location!! They always got the best clearance, they always have the sizes I'm looking for, and excellent discounts. Sometimes I do have to stand in a line but it's the holidays and the excellent service I get makes the line not so bad. I love the customer service team too. They're always knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They always solve any issues I have. I had an issue with another cashier not being able to print my receipt or my kohl's cash, and Brittany V. Knew exactly what to do to fix my problem and was able to print my receipt and my kohl's cash, and she even honored my $10 off $50. She provided me with excellent customer service. Seriously Khols needs to do something about their customer service, it is TERRIBLE!! In stores and on the phone. They messed up on my statement and when I went in to the store NO one even tried to help me, someone just pointed at a phone against a wall and said "pick that up" I was waiting for a little more info than that. I have never been so offended in my life; the third time I have gone into this store and I will never be returning. first I went in there to buy clothing for my son stated we were being followed by some large bald guy; I didn't mind but I kept an eye on him you never know with people nowadays. Later on, I described him to a representative on the floor that I knew and he stated he was lost prevention. I let it slide even though he doesn't do a good job since I was able to spot him I'm pretty sure criminals can. This month I went to kohls to make a payment on my card and I saw him again this time I was merely standing inline to make a payment. a wonderful woman in front of me made a payment in large bills 100s the cashier kindly check them and she was on her way. when it was my turn I saw him look at me and wave me in and he talked into the walkie all I heard was "got it "spoken into the mike; I made my payment 93.01 I decided to pay with 100 dollar bill(NEW! updated bill). he called someone for a bill check after I just saw him check others bills prior. 1. I work at a bank I know how the system works. YES, I FEEL DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND I WILL BE POSTING THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND NEXT TIME I WILL RECORD EVERYTHING! Came in for shoes because, well, I needed them. Every other time I've been in here has been for shoes, all three times in the past five years. Each time I've been in, the store has been laid out nicely. It's always clean and the aisles are easy to maneuver. However, there are ALWAYS lines at the registers. Always. I appreciate when the cashiers make small talk with me anywhere I happen to be spending my money, but here it's like they can't work and talk at the same time. As my mom would say, their service is as "slow as molasses". It truly is. I was in line for twenty minutes with one person in front of me (two people being helped at the only open registers). There was no energy in the cashier when I checked out. The conversation wasn't forced per se, but it was unenthusiastically delivered as if the cashier was dead tired and fighting to stay awake. Not horrible, but not welcoming or quick at all. Prices are decent, which is why I'll be returning in the future. read more

I went from hating-Kohl's to I'll only shop at this place because of Miss Judith. Back story: My boyfriend "desperately" needed a suit just because a wedding was approaching and he knew Kohl's has nice ones for cheap. I'm thinking UGH I HATE KOHLS WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE THIS GOD AWFUL PLACE but whatever, if I'm gunna marry him someday, gotta suck it up and go to Kohl's sometimes. We get there, and I'm cranky as hell, I want some effing food and don't want anyone near me, I just want to get a dang suit and leave. As he's trying on The One, the fitting room lady was really sweet and I'm thinking "sorry if I'm a brat lady, I just need some comida in me". We finally get it together and get to the register. Miss Judith, yeah if you're reading this review Mr/Miss/Mrs Manager, give that lady more money. You probably don't deserve her, she's awesome! It wasn't even the fact that she saved me 50 bucks, but how professional she was. My brother used to work there and I know the employees have to deal with snarley, grumpy customers like myself for pennies to the hour but nope, not Judith. Went to glendora Kohls today. Was able to find what I needed quickly and went to check out, men's side of store registers there was not any cashiers. After waiting in the line for customer service (return desk) Iwith 6 people ahead of me and a few of them grumbling about lack of cashiers I walked up to desk and said "excuse me, could you please call for a cashier" without even looking at me the person said "no" as I walked back a cashier was walking up to the registers and started ringing people up. So maybe Rude Customer service person could have said we have called for help, I never asked her name. I have never been treated so poorly in this store and will definitely avoid rude girl if I visit this store again. My visit was between 11 and noon. read more

Did a little shopping last night with my family and we noticed that the female supervisor on the women's side cash registers needs to work on her peoples skills. I don't know if it's just me but I must say that the merchandise in the store in Glendora is very well suited unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired my fiance walked into the store looking to buy a new wardrobe for my granddaughter or I should say our granddaughter couple of employees were very friendly and helpful but then again they were more employees that just had no idea of how to get good service I have 45 years in customer service on one incident my fiance wanted to make her payment she approached the young man asked if she could make a payment he replied by asking her to walk around the culture my fiance is physically unable to do too much walking she was using her walker he couldn't turn around and just take care of the bill to accommodate my fiance insisted on her walking at least 20 feet around the counter which I thought was a little discourteous and then he had no personality he was not friendly no smile and had an attitude like we were bothering him so then my fiance after having to deal with this individual want to buy a new watch for my son in law or our son in law and then again the young lady that was working the counter had a horrible disposition what is going on where the sales people at the store not my kind of expertise when dealing with the public yes at times it can be difficult but being a professional one must learn to deal with this is it me is it management or is this the new customer service not a good thing just my opinion my fiance bought the wardro $800 worth but I don't think she's going to do it again . read more

I was in about 7:55pm on August 20th 2015 . The girl Courtney was being rude about a coupon question that I do at all other kohls! Rude employees so she called the manager and she looked like a hott mess , careless , she answered my question like I was annoying her and walked away! Such bad service. I go to ALLL kohls and I will never step foot there again and neither will my friends or family!bthe coupon was used elsewhere at other kohls NO PROBLEM AT ALL! I wish I would have got that managers name! She was very unprofessional and sloppy. And Courtney doesn't belong there either .. I was being so nice and understanding but they pushed my buttons and I always shop at kohls! I spend over 1000 a month on gifts , shoes and clothing but not anymore.... The worst experience every. Ordered items online, received in two separate deliveries only to receive some items that looked very cheap. Went to return the items at the Glendora store which included jewelry. After waiting in the long customer service line, i was told i had to return the items in jewelry department, get over there with one packing slip and was treated like I stole a pair of the cheap looking earrings. The associate called the manager, because she couldn't located the item in the computer, after showing her my order confirmation on my phone, the manager then indicates i wasn't charged after viewing on my phone the same order,before walking away and never returning she mumbled called customer service, who then ask the associate if i paid with a credit card which i did, custom service said have her swipe her card and walla there it is after 30 minutes and being treated like a shoplifter, i was refunded all the money but 3 dollars that was given to me in store credit. Of course the associate didn't know why I didn't receive all the money, probably because I used a coupon she said, really if I used a coupon I wouldn't receive a credit, it would be deducted from the refund, go figure but at this point I just wanted out of there, so I couldn't argue any more and I donated the 3 dollar credit to the customer behind me, because I won't be going back to used.
