I am very sad to say that we were extremely let down by Kogi Grill. After getting this place recommended to us over and over again, we finally had to try it out. The woman at the counter was very kind. They were extremely busy and she was handling it well. It was very dingy inside, but exactly what you would expect for a place like this. You are not coming here for ambiance, you are coming for what is supposed to be great food. We ordered a large spicy pork kogi bowl and a large beef kogi bowl. Both with a sunny-side-up egg added on top. The flavors of the meat were definitely there, but the meat was extremely dry, chewy, and clearly very low quality. Dry meat over bland rice. Not very enjoyable. The egg on top was each bowl's only saving grace, and one yolk was broken. Needless to say, we were very displeased with Kogi Grill, and it seems to be quite overhyped. On a slower day, we might try this eatery again. Perhaps we tried it at a bad time. We wanted to love this place, especially with how convenient it is for us, but Kogi Grill did not hit the mark at all.

Love this place! So simple but yet so good! I ordered a Kogi Beef Bowl with an egg on top. So much flavor. The egg is a great addition! Love ordering from here! Just wish they had more side options or appetizers.

The 1st time I ate here, I thought it was dirty; but they were very busy with pickup orders. I gave it a 2nd chance and the bowl of beef and rice with secret sauce was pretty tasty and a decent portion. We did takeaway, tho. The menu is small: meat and rice in a bowl, meat and rice in a burrito, meat and rice in taco shells. This is a good place when you are craving BEEF. But definitely not traditional Korean food with beautiful side dishes and seaweed salad.

Arrived in Largo around dinner time. We decided to stop by Kogi for a quick to-go order. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me as soon as I entered. He was friendly and helpful. I went with the large shrimp bowl, $20.50. It comes with steamed rice, lettuce mix, and topped with Kogi sauce. It was ready in minutes! It was flavorful and had a nice, little kick. I really appreciated the generous portion of shrimp. It was very filling. I even shared some of it with my family. I would definitely eat or order from here again if I'm back in the area!

OK I did that says a delivery through DoorDash! But I called ahead to ask about the Kogi sauce since I have food allergies. The gentleman I spoke with was very sweet and explained what the Kogi sauce was and I said OK let me try it on the side so that I know whether or not, I will have issues and so he did and I placed my order. I got the Kogi beef bowl with a side of the chicken to see what the flavor was like with the grilled chicken! I also added the vegetables which is spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini, because I like a meal heavy on the vegetables. I was not disappointed with any of it. The rice is delicious. The meat was flavorful and just cooked to perfection. But that Kogi sauce is to die for. I was worried about the pepper in it and I didn't have to be. It was tempered beautifully in the sauce. I will definitely be ordering from here again soon, in fact, I was on TikTok, live and die, absolutely raved about my meal while on live. And told a friend who is on his way to Florida, that he has to go eat there while he's in town. Sorry, I don't have pictures this time because I was on live while eating it. But the next time I order, I will add pictures to this review. Picture added! This food is amazing. My 3rd order and consistently cooked to perfection!

ORDERED (ubereats prices) - large kogi spicy pork bowl + 1 oz extra meat [$14.75] OVERALL i can't say much about this place because i ordered delivery through ubereats however, i can say that the flavors are great. the gochu-mayo sauce is very tasty so i'm glad i ordered an extra side of it. i also liked that the portions were large, too. on the down side, the meat was overcooked and dry which i'm disappointed about since all the photos here look so juicy. perhaps it's not as overcooked if you eat in, but because of this, unfortunately, i don't think i'll be ordering from here again.

If you're in the mood for some good Korean food you have to visit Kogi Grill. Great service and a very easy store to find. I ordered grilled pork with no rice and extra salad. They put some type of sauce that was a little sweet but was not bad. We also ordered one with all the meats. Both dishes had a lot of meat and definitely got us full. I think if you add rice it will definitely bring the dish to the next level. The store is located in a plaza with a few other stores. I went around 12pm and they had a lot of open parking space. The food was ready in a few minutes after we placed our order. The menus is small but the quality of the food makes up for it. Great place to bring out of towers. Ordered the Kogi beef bowl and it had interesting flavor! Definitely some kick to it as well, which I think they should warn people about. The regular size portion was a decent amount for a lunch, but I'd recommend the large if you have a good appetite. I would probably visit this place regularly if I lived closer. The staff was extremely friendly as well. read more

I ordered the Kogi Beef bowl and it was delicious! The beef was well seasoned and the rice was fresh. My only complaint is there was a bit too much spicy mayo drizzled on top. If you don't like spicy food be careful what you order because there is some heat in these bowls! If you're in the Largo area you should definitely check this place out! read more

Korean food + tacos. What's not to love. Really fun fusion restaurant in the area and honestly wish we had more food fusion places like this. The tacos are my favorite but the bowls are pretty good as well. So if you've never had Korean and looking for a way to ease into it, this is the perfect place to start! Or if you're someone who enjoys novelty fusion foods like me, come by this place immediately. read more

Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Interesting American twist on Korean barbecue; however, the food tastes as authentic as it gets. The meats were seasoned extremely well & the sauce it comes with really brings it all together. The pork burrito & other pork dishes are spicy with crisp jalapeños & the beef bowl has you wanting more. Overall 5/5, upset that we just found out about this place. read more

This is a Korean Mexican fusion style take out. I didn't try the taco or burritos. The bowl is considered good for $10. Portion is decent, but the spicy pork is regular pork with a few pieces of jalapeno peppers. That to me is not spicy pork. Also the special bibimbap is very expensive considered it is a take out. The authentic Korean restaurants serve in a stone bowl is less than what they charged. The worst part is, either they forgot or don't come with kochujang sauce. It's like spaghetti with meatball with no marinara sauce. I am not sure will I go back. read more

I had the pleasure of serving our country as a member of the US Army. I spent 5 years living in South Korea. I love Korean food. This, my friends, is far from Korean food. This food is disgusting. I wouldn't feed it to my dog and my dog was starving. Prior to the 1988 Summer Olympics, Korean shop owners (meat markets) were instructed to discontinue the sale of dog meat. Eating at this place tells me where the dog meat was being made. Do yourself a big favor and experience Korean food, just not from here. read more

Have been looking forward to trying this place, but we were all a little disappointed. Felt like it was missing something. No pizzazz. Ordered the beef bowl, and a spicy pork burrito and a beef burrito and extra sauce on the side for all 3. The beef bowl was loaded with rice. Had very little meat. As in, I took 4 bites and the meat was gone. My husband had the beef burrito and said it was missing a flavor he couldn't pinpoint. My son had the spicy pork burrito. He didn't even eat half. Overall, just ehhh. But I'll give it another shot , maybe try the chicken. read more

You must try this place out. The food here is excellent and the staff is very nice. And best of all this is one of the cleanest restaurant I've ever been to. Nice simple menu with three flavorful types of meat. What you can get in a bowl a taco or in a burrito. The food is spicy but not too spicy. To the point where my wife who does not like spicy food still enjoyed it. I highly recommend it definitely check this place out. read more

You will leave full if your hungry. I got the triple steak and my wife got the chicken bibimbap with an egg. Flavor of the steak and chicken was perfect and the sauces had plenty of flavor. If the rice was a little warmer the flavors would have been even greater. But overall good price, parking, and flavors are good. Will definitely return if back on this side of town. read more

First off, it can be two meals which justified the price. It's one of those "I know I shouldn't eat all this in one sitting" meals. Spicy pork taco is delicious too. Don't forget it's one taco. Well, I think it's unanimous....this place is great! I stopped by for lunch to go today, and ended up deciding on the chicken bowl. I am not a huge fan of overly spicy food, and what is spicy to me is usually mild to almost everyone else, so I have them put the sauce on the side just in case. Word to the wise....don't go without that delicious sauce!! It is sweet and mildly spicy, but I would not be mad if I had to take a bath in it...too much?? LOL The place is small, but very clean and the service was fast and friendly. I didn't see any sign of beer or wine, but soda and tea are available. Must go!! read more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! First time ever having Korean food and I'm a fan! This new restaurant is tucked away in a small strip plaza in St. Pete. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. The menu is limited and focused ensuring every dish is made FRESH to order and the flavor is on point. The spicy pork bowl had just the right amount of spice to add to the dish without overwhelming it. All the meats are sliced and grilled on site, all vegetables are brought in daily fresh - fresher than what's in my fridge!! Everything is done here in house with the owner on site. Service is fast, prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food, the environment is clean and fresh - definitely NOT a 'hole in the wall' type place- walk in and you'll be amazed! I'm a tough gal to please with food, and for this I'll drive the 30 min for dinner! read more

This has got to be one of the best treasures I've found in that area! Me and my sister went to the beach for a maternity shoot, i was due days ago so I've been trying to stay active and induce labor.... welllllllll, i was not disappointed with this amazing little place! Don't let the outside fool you, the food was so amazing i almost turned around to order more for the next day since I'm an hour away!!! I'm thinking of making the drive today just because it was THAT good!!! Trying to find something comparable in my area and NOTHING... funny thing is that my sister found other places but i was dead set on Kogi Grill and I'm so glad i didn't let her talk me out of it... Oh and the spicy sauce that is too good for words have kick started my contractions... maybe one more meal can put me in labor!! WISH ME LUCK... lol read more

This is my favorite must go spot whenever I'm driving by this place. Their beef burrito is to die for. It's marinated beef plus some other side wrap together burrito with an amazing sauce that they made from scratch. The price for the foods quality just blows my mind. Cheap for a great quality food that you get. I would definitely recommend this place for burrito or Korean lovers. read more

I'll be honest, my experience with Korean food is pretty limited. Sure, I love Kimchi and have been to a couple Korean BBQ places, but this is an entirely different kind of place altogether. Is it authentic? No clue, but I doubt it. It's like Korean Tex Mex if you will. But what I do know it is delicious! I think the secret is their Gochugang sauce that is kind of like their version of a spicy mayo. I could put it on a flip flop and eat it up. It's that good! I usually go for their rice bowls which they let you chose between chicken, beef or pork (I've had all three and enjoy them all equally) with a bit of cabbage on top what I would assume is jasmine rice by its fragrance. Then they top it with that bomb sauce and I always get extra on the side! Nothing fancy, just delicious food! They offer two sizes and I feel the small is sufficient. I've also tried their burrito which they use the above formula, just adding cheese to bring it all together and it is fantastic as well! Whenever I'm in the neighborhood I make sure to pass by. There isn't any place around like it! Once you've had it, you'll understand! read more

If my kids would have their way, we did have dinner from their multiple times a week. I love the BP bowl or whatever where it has an egg on it. That's really cool. My kids just like chicken bowls. One of my kids really likes a burrito from there too. It's pretty damn good. I got so you know the lobby is not really like the place you take a date or whatever but it's fine. It'll do to eat at it's more of a pick up place and I really do like the fact that they make you feel like you're in business is important to them and that's what's really cool foods always on time and ready so whether you're getting it to go or grabbing a quick bite there.
