When we visited Prague we certainly enjoyed the hustle bustle part of the city life. But there is…read moreanother place that isn't far away, that holds a lot Prague history, and is a lot less crowded than the attractions in the center of the city and the castle area. I can't pronounce or spell the name, however that does not diminish how cool this place is. If you make the trip out here there is a cemetery behind the church which is home to a lot of important people. The church itself is also worth a look, it is old, ornate, and beautiful like the overwhelming majority of church buildings in Prague. I would consider this place more of a national or state park, there are lots of places to walk around, lots of open fields, places to play, relax, and stunning views of the river and beyond. There is also a cafe which is perfect for grabbing a snack and ofcourse, a cup of coffee. If you want a break from the hustle bustle of Prague, and would like to enjoy more Parkish type atmosphere with history galore, I recommend you take a trip here. We are glad we did.

Wine tasting in Prague at the Prague castle. How nice was that. The wine producers offered their…read morerose wines from their regions of Czech. Others offered some food like grilled pulled pork, procutto and melon and may more. The amount of people who went there was quite acceptable. Not too many. You had to pay 150 CZK per person and you got a wine glass plus coins. With the coins you could buy small portions of wine for tasting. Nice idea. The place is amazing and the view from there outstanding.

So I was on my way to a knihkupectvi on Jungmannova. Spotted this quiet, serene getaway very close to the Můstek station. Great park and well landscaped! Benches rule for tourists, I tell ya.

The entry is secretly hidden down the hill and between two buildings. But once you passed the doors... The garden is huge and well organized, with little benches here and there and pretty statues all over the park. A peony (!) is also lurking around, striking the pose when you want to take a picture. But don't try to pet him/her. On the left side of the garden, you can find a fake cave. Let's try to find the creatures, birds and rabbits curved into the stone. I pretty suck at the game but if you are lucky, one of the kid playing there shall help out !
