They are definitely hitting the pavement hard because from my research I don't believe they have a tasting room in Hayden. The address looks to be a production facility so you aren't likely to get very far if you go there and hope to get one of their beers fresh off the tap. But despite no taproom you can go to their website and at least for Idaho and Washington state they have their products distributed fairly decently. And of course there is always Tavour so if you don't even live close to those states you can still have it shipped to you(as long as your state accepts beer being shipped in the mail, some states don't). So far we have had two beers from Bombastic. The first one Attempted Murder Batch 2 was fairly decent. The name is based on a murder of crows and not the act itself at least that's what the picture looked like it was indicating on the can. This was an Imperial Stout which was pretty good. Robust and flavorful. But my heart really lies with a different stout which was the Shiver Coffee Stout. I love coffee and espresso stouts so much and so appropriate as the cold weather sets in. Great coffee taste with this one and I could see myself getting it again. Exploring on Untapped and looking at Bombastic's other beers I see that they have lots of intriguing ones that would maintain my interest all over the board when it comes to beer styles and ingredients which is exactly what I want to see from a brewery. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on this brewery in the future and examining and trying out their other beer options!

And if you know me, that says EVERYTHING. The crazy part? The ranch was actually really good too... I just didn't need it. The pizza was perfectly balanced, crispy, cheesy, flavorful just chef's kiss. The beers? Crisp. Smooth. So good. The aesthetics? On point. Live music... on a Wednesday night?? Super fire. For a second I felt like I was in Hawaii or something warm vibes, good energy then I stepped outside and remembered it's cold. What really stood out though? The owner actually came out, shook hands, hung out, and still ate there. That's rare. It's always a good sign when the owner is present and genuinely cares about the space and the people in it. Service was amazing. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was amazing. Honestly wish I could give it more than 5 stars. If you're looking for a spot to connect, chill, have good beer, eat amazing pizza, and just vibe go check out Trails End Brewery. Definitely will be back.

It was a bit loud inside, but honestly, that's totally normal and expected for a lively brewery! What really stood out right away was the ambiance and the decor--they've done a fantastic job making the space look great and welcoming. The Service: Absolutely 5 stars. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and constantly checked in on us to make sure we weren't missing a thing. You really can't ask for better hospitality. The Food: I ordered the Brisket Mac and Cheese. The mac and cheese itself was good, and the brisket was cooked nicely, but the dish was just a bit out of balance. The sauce and juices from the brisket were incredibly strong and completely overpowered the mac and cheese. If they dialed back the brisket juice a bit, it would be a perfect comfort dish. Overall, a great local spot with top-tier service and a really cool vibe. I'll definitely be back to try a few other things on the menu!

Can't wait to come back again for more "guys night out". Thanks!

QBC is my 308th brewery! Not exactly local for us but it was a great little day trip…read more It was pretty cold so no outside seating today but no worries as QBC has a nice indoor bar area. I told the beer tender to set me up with a flight of five, while SWPFTD ordered a pint of the Angel Peak Amber. Purple Flat Top hazy IPA is a really good IPA with great hop flavor but very manageable bitterness. Peewee Falls hoppy Pilsner didn't work for me. It had a little bit of an aroma and flavor that didn't appeal. YMMV. Timber Mountain tripel was good for me. I was tempted to go with a pint of this but decided on another. Iron Mountain stout had a nice roasty chocolatey flavor to it. Very drinkable! Bangs Mountain dark Kolsch was a good beer as well. I also tried the amber which SWPFTD ordered. This was a decent little amber. SWPFTD approved. Our daughter-in-law had ordered the wassail and it was pretty cool to see they had one on. I decided to go ahead and revisit the hazy IPA. They don't have food at QBC but they had a food truck when we arrived. Lola's Good Eats was REALLY good! QBC is a great spot. Great beer and all! I got a growler of beer from a different brewery here so that proved to be successful and pleasant. I went poking around on Untappd and looked up anything Black Lodge Brewing may have made and they certainly had some intriguing beers so I held off on getting a Yelp review posted for it. But on my second visit I was told that they don't brew their own beer anymore and that they only have guest taps from other breweries but they still had a good variety of beer to choose from as far as beer options go. So this place is more of a taphouse with guest taps so something to keep in mind. It's still as cool as I remember it. My last visit here looked like a concert was going to start. Might have been a metal or a punk oriented type band as that was what the audience appeared to be. I wasn't going to see the show and just wanted a beer so they were nice enough to let me in to do just that. Black Lodge Brewing is one of those breweries that is inspired by the TV show Twin Peaks and you pick up subtle nods to it there with some pictures of Laura Palmer. I bought some swag for this brewery online and while they had several designs I went with the logos that had the opening credits styled from the show with the brewery name on it.

We had two kids and a baby with us and they were extremely accommodating, offering the kids crayons and paper to color on to keep them busy, which allowed us parents to relax for a much needed minute. We ordered the artichoke dip and the kids cheese pizza, which was huge (for a kid's meal) and super cheesy with great crust, YUM! We got a few different beers - all were delicious - and took a couple cans of the Thai tea seltzer to go. The bartender/server invited the kids back to watch how he made the cans so that was cool. Overall very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, exactly what I was looking for with three kids. My husband loved the music and kept telling the guys it was his favorite stop of our whole trip!
