Photo frames are only a $1 or so. The clothing here isn't amazing but I did find a couple of vintage items. These were marked up slightly higher than the other clothes but they were great quality so I didn't feel cheated. There are also a lot of kids toys and accessories like handbags and shoes here. You could easily pick up a good leather jacket for $30 at one stage; one that would easily set you backs $200 in the city. Of late however, the prices have lifted a little, reflecting the trend for recycled and second hand clothing. A huge range of shoes lines the back wall, and my little lady often winds up trying on heaps of good ladies clothes and leaves with a swag of dresses for a steal.

Still stocking a huge range of clothes, Vinnies in Bayswater also has a large furniture section, including heaps of retro household bits & pieces, beds, chairs and couches. The record section is good too, with the staff choosing to stock quality over quantity, so you don't have to hunt through 100 copies of the Kamahl Christmas album to get to the good stuff.

With the standard discount days offered by all Salvos stores, you rarely leave this place without a few treasures. Upstairs you'll find household items and linen, and along the wall is a tonne of knick-knacks and crockery that would easily fill a street worth of houses. Like most op-shops, you never know what you're going to get, and what hasn't been snatched by the upmarket 'Boutique" recycled stores and sold for double the price elsewhere is always down to what has been donated recently.
