This small restaurant is in a quieter part of the European district. You're unlikely to stumble…read moreacross it unless you work nearby. It is the kind of place you hear about from a friend who himself heard about it from another friend.
Traditional Belgian-French cooking with local market ingredients, they do a bargain lunch for 18E, or 21E with dessert.
Last I went I enjoyed a shrimp croquette followed by grilled swordfish with golden crisp fries. There is nothing fancy here, just well executed family cooking with fresh ingredients; and all at a more than reasonable price.
The 'pichet' of red and white wine were good and we were treated to a nice sparkling wine on arrival.
Only downside, it can be a bit slow, plan for a 5/10 minute walk from Schuman and a good hour if you want a starter and main; you'll have to throw in an extra half hour for dessert and coffee.
Overall some delightful seasonal family cooking that makes for a very different lunch experience than the more common restaurants around Schuman, albeit also a lot slower.
