We stayed in an executive suite in Hunter's yard. The exterior looks like a luxury stable but you would never know from the inside. Our room was so luxurious. The attention to detail was incredible! We had a welcome note, champagne, and a piece of cake waiting on the table for us. We had complimentary still and sparkling water and chocolates too. In the morning, we checked out the health club which has an gorgeous indoor pool, spa, sauna, steam room, and gym. Afterwards, we enjoyed breakfast at the Hound. Our hotel package included breakfast which was incredible. The Hound has amazing views of the driving range. For breakfast there is a buffer and the option to order something off the menu too. We decided to go with the buffet options but most individuals did both. After breakfast we walked throughout the estate. The hotel offers horseback riding, clay shooting, fishing, and more. While walking to a bed and breakfast in Inistioge from Thomastown, I happened upon a sign for…read moreanother B&B, and decided to check it out. I ended up staying there, and I really enjoyed it. The owner, Julie, was as nice as a person can be (she even called someone to find me and pick me up when I left my passport in the room!) Also, I had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had there: a smoked salmon scramble with tomatoes and chives. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place; you won't regret it.
