I have been shopping here for years, and for those who may not have been here recently, I must tell you the quality of the items has only improved. It has always been a nice shop , but I feel it is now in the running for best consignment shop in Eastern Pa. They have either attracted a better quality of name brand items, or are being more choosy about what they take in! Let me tell you why I drive an hour to come to this store: It is the largest most fashionable consignment store I know of, with exceptional, affordable clothing and accessories! Large means room for more merchandise, pleasingly arranged from the smallest through largest articles of color according to size. The have outerwear, sleepwear, and petites separated. I can not walk in the store without heading directly to the designer handbags, and the great brands of shoe collections. Many of their items still have the store tags hanging on them. One of the most amazing displays is their beautiful, trendy brand new jewelry. Some consignment jewelry is sold, but most is sparkling new costume jewelry! They carry specific collections of fashion jewelry. A new brand displayed attractively is the "Ginger Snap" jewelry, in which you can interchange the center decorative part of the jewelry by simply snapping it in and out of place! Another beautiful versatile display of jewelry are the lockets with varying designs of see through shapes, which you purchase colorful tiny charms of interest for yourself, or anyone you would like to give a unique gift to! Any other store of this size would be difficult to get around, but all is sorted according to type of clothing: skirts, jeans, dresses, etc. Quality purses are so numerous now, that they can be found on display racks throughout the store. The people who shop there are dressed nicely . You can see that they wouldn' t have to shop there; they only do so because they know its the wise thing to do. Which brings us to cost. The prices are extremely reasonable. The only place you could find cheaper clothing, would be in a goodwill for ex. I am a retired teacher who likes stretching her dollar, and I only Shop in what I call consignment boutiques. When I was younger, I tried goodwill, and other thrift shops. I have been spoiled by theses shops now, kiddingly saying I do have standards. My friends brag about items they find at a Goodwill, which is sometimes true, but their shopping experience is not the same. I feel like a trendy upscale shopper in the stores I am browsing through,It's not at all the same as looking through torn damaged clothing, stored in a smelly wearhouse type building! The staff is professional, courteous, and does donate portions of sales to pet rescues. You can even purchase a new toy for your pet! Not only do they have large inviting dressing rooms, shopping carts, a bathroom for their customers, but also they include areas of seating for a quick rest. Notice all the gorgeous formal gowns displayed like flowers throughout the store for some lucky prom shopper. Today my friend of 60+, and I found quite a few spring fashions while her 30 year old daughter, who lives and works in New York City , as a professional at one of the national TV stations, was shopping along side of us , picking out favorites to wear to work at her job in the big Apple! Any day that you stop in, you will find sale items. Individual items are priced on sale, or sometimes there are store wide sales! YOU WILL LOVE, "NOW WEAR THIS!"

While I rarely buy anything for myself, after being here so many times I do think it's a well run operation. The reason why I don't usually shop is because it's often hard for me to find things that work for my figure. The prices are higher than you would find at thrift but I've never found anything that is worn, stained, or ripped so they do have their sorting process down. Some things do appear slightly dated to me, but maybe it's more that those selections are geared towards an older woman. The gals working the counter are consistent and always very pleasant. They went out of their way to pray for me once when I was having a bad day. I thought that was very considerate and a step above. I will forever be grateful that they cared enough to do that! On the downside the space is challenging. I think they do the best that they can with the L shaped layout of the building. This is not the place to bring a stroller since the isles are tight. Children's fashions I feel are their strongest selection. Especially around the holidays when you're looking for festive wear for pictures, gatherings, etc. I need to remember this for next year! There's even a small open area for your children to stay busy while you're on the hunt. Keep in mind though if selling; they are picky about what they take as far as conditions, brands, age, etc. They have a flyer that outlines what they take and it's helpful to you in your own sorting process. Clothes only need be folded in a basket, no bags. They don't take items on Mondays or after the 20th of every month. So while you won't make a ton of money selling here you'll leave with more than you would if you had a yard sale. And that's good enough for me.

Not that much variety, a little more expensive than I wish to pay for a used item. Good quality…read moreclothes and convenient location.

That is why I have started thrifting to see what is there and being done. The people that work at Fancy Unicorn are so nice and very helpful when you ask for help. I went in on a Thursday looking for an outfit for my senior photos on Friday and the lady was so nice helping me out and trying to find something that was me. After about an hour, I was able to find two outfits and I loved wearing them at my senior pictures. My last visit was today and I was looking for a Christmas present for my grandmother and I found the perfect present for her. I found her a candle that smelled like the woods and she loves the woods. I am getting her more, but it really helps when you can find some things for your relatives and it is not as expensive as other stores. And I found this beautiful coat that I fell in love with and it was only $20 and was in fantastic condition. If you are looking for affordable clothing for yourself or family or decorations, this is the best place to go.

No waiting to see if they sell or not. They will offer you cash or 20% more in store credit. I check back at the store very often because they circulate their clothes very efficiently, always something new! That being said if you see something neat, make sure to pick it up or it might not be there when you come back! Never feels like a second hand store, very boutique-y feel! Absolutely love and would highly recommend!!

Probably one of my worst experiences ever as a customer at any business I've ever been to…read more I brought a bike in to be fixed and was told that there were a few additional issues that they recommended be addressed as well.... Reluctantly, I agreed to let them take care of them (I don't know too much about bikes, so I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt). They told me that they would have to order a new shifter in (okay, not a problem). I called them up about a week later to check on the status of things and they said "well we should have the part in a few days and should be able to fix it right up." Two weeks later, I finally got the bike back after calling them back multiple times and being told "it'll just be a few more days" each time. In all, it took three weeks to install a new shifter, rear derailleur, and chain. They claimed that it was due to difficulty in getting parts, but regardless it would have been nice to have some sort of update from them at some point - the only two phone calls I got from them in that three weeks was 1 call the day I dropped it off so they could tell me something else was wrong and 1 call to tell me it was ready for pickup (after I called them that morning asking about the status of it, and they finally got back to me four hours later). In total, the bill was $225. Almost half of that was labor costs, as they charge a flat rate of $20 in labor costs per part that they install. The cherry on top was when I was leaving, the manager said "yep, now you can go break it again so we can fix it for ya again!" Really? Three weeks and $225 later, and you're going to make that joke? Sorry, but your priorities seem to lie with making money and not with serving your customers. I'll be taking my business elsewhere (heck, if it means saving $100 in labor costs, I'll just teach myself next time. I'll save time and money compared to what I went through). TLDR: brought a bike in to be fixed, and it took three weeks. $225 in total, almost half being labor costs. Management seems to prioritize money over customer service.
