First off the lady who checked my in was friendly and very efficient. The room was very clean and the water was hot, for showers. The location was very quiet and made for a great night sleep as I needed to get up early. The next morning the breakfast was great. The two ladies that were working in there did a amazing job and were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was organized and the area was clean. Plenty of tables were available to sit at. They are still visible in more than 50 locations from my shoulders down. Of course I call the Hotel who told me they would close the room and have a pest control company examine the room. Of course I am sure you can guess the outcome. Inspection found signs of bed bugs. Its crazy to think I was only at this location from home, to this Hotel and back home. Without question this room was infested. Called corporate at IHG and they said they was nothing they could do. Please stay away from this location. At a minimum check their beds before you stay.

I was told by Tham, the receptionist that they were sold out of rooms with a double bed and all the tubs were taken. Because of those issues, I decided to check out and go to the Holiday Inn Express. I called Hilton Honors customer care to report the incident and requested re-compensation to return my money back on my card since I did not stay at the hotel. The customer service agent called Tham and requested to speak to a manager. Tham stated that the Assistant General Manager, Tiffany would promptly see the notes and reimburse my money. Part 2: I called Tiffany and stated the issue that I had with the prior issues. She was rude and stated that all over the Hilton website it states that there is construction., and I don't know who told you could get your money back, I can't make that call. I have enclosed proof that there were no signs indicating construction on the website nor did the agents relay that to me when I checked in. She went on to tell me that the General Manager had to make the call to reimburse. I checked out because of the dissatisfaction of the room and customer service. I called Hilton Honors customer service again to report Tiffany and they gave me a case number. Skip the Hilton Honors in Lithia Springs, GA as it is not worth your time.

Even though I arrived early I found an empty tray, which felt like a small personal tragedy. The staff, however, was wonderful. When we arrived the young man at the desk was friendly and offered us several options to make my husband's access through the facility simple and easy. In the morning, when I let them know non-handicapped vehicles had taken the accessible parking spaces and my husband had nowhere to park, they addressed it immediately and made sure he was accommodated. That kind of attentiveness matters. Comfortable, kind service, and a very worthwhile stop on a long drive.

Some of us got different things each time while others kept it the same. It had a variety of things including eggs, muffins, cereals, bagels, pastries, coffee, juices, and pancakes.

Check in was a bit odd in that they wouldn't not allow any check-ins until 3pm on the dot. There was a lobby full of people waiting and even at 2:30 all the way up to 2:59, everyone was told they had to wait until 3pm. Very strange and not really customer service oriented. I doubt all the rooms suddenly were clean and ready at 2:59 and 59. People in the lobby were aggravated. Once I got passed the check-in, everything was smooth sailing. The staff was very friendly and helpful at every turn. I grabbed a coffee and breakfast item every day from the cafe in the lobby. My room was clean and well appointed. I would stay here again if I came back for work. I would hope the check in issues are resolved by then.
